We want you to have a sense of belonging and feel valued for your contributions and the perspectives you bring.\nSummary:\nResponsible for safely and efficiently operating and driving trucks/vehicles to support operations at the project site.\nSpecific duties:\nOperates vehicles and/or equipment in a safe and responsible manner.\nLoads and unloads truck to and from job site, may involve heavy lifting.\nInspects site to ensure safe environment to load and unload.\nCompliant with site policies and safety procedures.\nReports any accidents and/or injuries immediately.\nFor DOT drivers:Performs all required DOT inspections and complies with other regulatory DOT requirements by adhering to state and federal laws and regulations.\n\nFollows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly. \nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nAbility to operate and drive a vehicle/truck.\nGood communication skills.\nAbility to operate equipment safely and efficiently.\nAbility to follow verbal and written directions accurately.\nAbility to work on different types of terrain.\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nExperience in the construction field.\nMaintain a clear motor vehicle record (MVR) according to DOT and company standards.\nMaintain a proper license and/or CDL that is in good standing:Class A license\nClass B license\nDOT license\n\nTanker endorsements a plus.\nPhysical requirements and environment:\nThe work environment and physical demands characteristics are representative of those the employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nConstruction site environment includes early stage permitting, development and auditing through finished roads and features. Extensive travel with driving to remote sites along with office work in field conditions is also included.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace.
