In this role, you will oversee and participate in the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. You will also provide leadership, guidance, and technical support to junior technicians while contributing to innovative projectswithin the renewable energy sector.\nAccountabilities\nPerform routine and advanced maintenance and inspections on mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.\nDiagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical/technicalissues efficiently.\nRepair and replace faulty components to ensure system reliability and optimal performance.\nDevelop and implement standard operating procedures for maintenance and training.\nEnsure compliance with safety standards, systemsand regulations.\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.\nAssist in the installation of new electrical systems and equipment.\nProvide leadership, technical support, and mentorship to junior technicians.\nCollaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance.\nRespond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and ensure timely resolutions.\nOther duties as assigned\nSkills\nExtensive experience in electrical maintenance, repair, and installation.\nAbility to read and interpretcomplexcircuitdiagrams and schematics.\nStrong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nProficiency in using maintenance management software and basic computer skills.\nWillingness to work flexible hours, overtime,and be on-call as needed.\nExperience\nExtensive experience in electrical maintenance, repair, and installation.\nExperience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.\nKnowledge of HV/LV systems and communication networks is desirable;\nQualifications\nValid electrical licensefor the state\nValid Drivers licence\nLVR/CPR currentcertificate\nFirst Aid current certificate\nWorking at Heights desirable\nHV electrical qualification desirable.\nHigh Risk Work Licences desirable (boom lift, forklift, dogging, rigging, telehandler etc)\nSafety Obligations\ntake reasonable care for your own health and safety\ntake reasonable care for thehealth and safetyof others\ncomply with any reasonable instructions, policies and procedure given by the company\nAt RES,we celebrate differencesas we know it makes our company a great place to work.
