We want you to have a sense of belonging and feel valued for your contributions and the perspectives you bring.\nSummary:\nAn Intern or Co-op Intern will typically support one or more experienced Field Engineers in the performance of their assignments, spend time shadowing actual operations, and have unique assignments that support larger projects as well as experience the day-to-day workings of Field Engineering.\nCo-ops are typically 8 months in length. Qualified Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and US Citizens.\nRequirements: \nConducts safety walks to reinforce safe behaviors and correct unsafe actions.\nAssists with verification that all field installations are per engineered IFC drawings.\nAssists with maintenance and updates to project documentation, as needed, utilizing SharePoint, Procore, or Client systems.\nAssists in the update and tracking of project specific tracking tools, including but not limited to Procurement, Request for Information (RFI), Safe Work Instructions (SWI), Submittal Logs, Plan of Day (POD), and Material Tracking.\nAssists team in resolution of field-level technical issues.\nAttends project meetings, takes minutes and distributes to Project Management Team for review and distribution to full project team, including Client as required. \nProfessionally communicates to strengthen and continually maintain Client relationships.\nSupports continuous improvement at project and corporate level through feedback\nAssists in quality field inspections\nOperates company assigned vehicle in a safe manner in all types of road and weather conditions.\nAttends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.\nComplies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.\nPresents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.\nCollaborate effectively with peers and supervisors.\nSafety:\nFollows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly. \nQualifications:\nWorking toward a BS in Construction Management or Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) required.\nConstruction experience preferred.\nMust be able to travel 76-100% of the time.\nValid Driver’s License required.\nMust be able to complete an Internship or Co-op at any project location. This often requires relocating out of state.\nAbility to adopt and navigate new software systems to support project needs.\nFunction competencies include Attention to Detail, Communication, Drive, Prioritization and Teamwork.\nAnticipated base salary range: $20-23/hour\nThe final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.\nPhysical requirements and environment:\nThe work environment and physical demands characteristics are representative of those the employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
