This person will support multiple aspects of both engineer, procure, and construct (EPC) and balance of plant (BOP) projects in the utility and renewable energy sector.There are currently project locations across the country and candidates should be ready to travelto any of our project sites for their role.\nRequirements:\nSafetyLeads by example to show that safety is the most important function.\nReinforces safe behaviors and corrects unsafe actions.\nEnsures Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) are completed daily.\nConducts safety walks regularly.\nParticipates in the morning meetings and All-Hands meetings with project personnel.\n\nQualitySupports the development of project specific standard work instructions.\nVerifies field installation is per the engineered IFC and manufacturer specifications.\nPrepares and supports closeout documentation, job books, and lessons learned.\nSupports Continuous Improvement through feedback and review of Nonconformances and Lessons Learned on a project.\n\nEnvironmentalReviews environmental plans and permits for compliance.\nAssists with permitting and conducts environmental inspections.\nEnsures adherence to all permit conditions on-site.\n\nPlanningReviews and understands the schedule and budget constraints of the project.\nSupports 3-week lookaheads and resource tracking.\nSupportsresolution of field-level technical issues.\nCoordinates with appropriate individuals to create preparatory meeting templates to support project planning and task direction.\nCoordinates timely procurement of labor, equipment, and materials.\n\nOperationsSupports the superintendents with daily tracking of time and production quantities.\nCompletes Plan of Day (POD) reports in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner.\nTracks progress versus the baseline schedule.\nMaintains updated Foreman Handbooks with current documents.\nCreatesand compile shake-out maps to assist material staging onsite.\nPerforms material receiving, inventory and management activities to support production.\n\nClient Relationship and Contract ManagementUnderstands and adheres to client’s expectations.\nProfessionally communicates to strengthen and continually maintains client relationships.\n\nPresents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.\nCollaborate effectively with peers and supervisors.\nOperates company-assigned vehicle in a safe manner in all types of road and weather conditions.\nUtilizes, and ensures utilization of, the Safety Management System (SMS), the Quality Management System (QMS), and the Environmental Management System (EMS) throughout a project’s lifecycle.\nAttends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.\nComplies withEmployee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.\nAbility to be adaptable and capable of covering multiple scopes as required.\nSafety\nFollows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly. \nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma/GED Required.\nBachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering or construction management (or equivalent) or 2 years equivalent and relevant work experience, required. \n1 + year of experience in BESS, Substation, Transmission, and/or renewable energy EPC contract experience, preferred.\nAbility to travel 76-100% of the time domestically required.\nValid Driver’s License required.\nConstruction site safety and OSHA requirements.\nReading prints and drawings and taking off quantities.\nInterpretation and understanding Contract documents including scopes of work (SOW), schedule of value (SOVs) and budgets.\nUse of computer software, including Heavy Job, Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office suite, and other proprietary systems.\nInterpretation and understanding of project schedules.\nVendor and materials management.\nFunctional competencies include accountability, communication, responsibility/stewardship, teamwork, prioritization, and self-knowledge & self-learning.\nAnticipated base salary range: $66,000- $78,000\nPremium Daily Per Diem paid for food, lodging, rotational Travel\nThe final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
