This work includes preventive and corrective maintenance of on-site assets such as solar panels, trackers, power inverters, and substation components.\nRequirements:\nMentors and sets positive example for junior technicians.\nCollaborates with senior line managers for plant maintenance.\nTroubleshoots low voltage DC power systems.\nTroubleshoots low voltage, medium voltage, and high voltage AC power systems.\nConducts preventive maintenance on AC and DC power systems.\nIdentifies faulty or underperforming equipment.\nUtilizes hand tools effectively and appropriately.\nUtilizes a computerized maintenance management system.\nMaintains inventory of spare parts and consumables.\nDevelops and administers site operating plans.\nDevelops and implements site safety plans.\nAdheres to proper Lock-out-tag-out (LOTO) practices and procedures.\nLeads daily tailboards and conducts job hazard analysis (JHA).\nInterfaces with project stakeholders (owners, equipment manufacturers, etc.).\nInterfaces with project subcontractors.\nRepresents RES in professional manner.\nResponds to physical location within 1.5 hours for emergency calls identified as a priority by Operations Control Center.\nOperates RES company vehicles, including trucks, in accordance with state and federal laws and RES policies.\nAttends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.\nComplies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.\nRotating on-call schedule for emergency response.\nPresents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude\nSafety\nPresents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.\nLeads by example to show that safety is the most important function, ensuring that all employees follow safe practices while working.\nAccountable to continually reinforce safe behaviors and correct “at risk” behaviors.\nAdheres to and ensures all site team members understands standard operating procedures.\nLeads and supports the site team in technical, quality and safety, utilizing system in place.\nLeadership\nFosters and demonstrates a workplace inclusive of creating opportunity, serving others, building trust, innovation, and exceeding expectations.\nManages one or more direct reports.\nParticipates in hiring and selection process to fill positions on the team.\nCommunicates regularly with direct reports on goals, accomplishments, and information on policies.\nDemonstrates leadership and expertise in eyes of client group.\nEmployee Development:\nProvides tasks and assignments that challenge and stretch employees’ responsibilities.\nConducts regular discussions with employee(s) on personal development. Comfortable with empowering others.\nConducts timely, effective performance reviews in accordance with RES guidelines\nQualifications\nHighschool Diploma/GED required.\nAssociate’s degree in technical field required.\n5+ years related electrical maintenance experience required.\n3+ years medium voltage electrical work experience required.\n2+ years high voltage electrical work experience required.\n2+ years managing or leading field technicians.\nValid Driver’s License Required.\nAbility to reside with a maximum commuting distance of 60 miles from the work site to ensure availability for on-site responsibilities.\nAbility to travel 5-15%.\nOSHA 10/30 preferred.\nFAA Part 107 Drone Pilot preferred.\nInfrared Thermography (any level) preferred.\nIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)\nAdvanced Knowledge:Low voltage DC power systems\nLow voltage, medium voltage, and high voltage AC power systemsDrawings\nTheory\n\nOSHA regulations\nHand tools\nEquipment operation (skid-steer, forklift, etc)\nJob hazard analysis (JHA) creation\nElectrical tools (multimeter, IR camera)\nIV curve tracing\nANSI/NETA MTS\nSCADA systems\n\nAnticipated base salary range: $38.13 - $47.66\nThe final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.\nRES offers benefits that are effective first day of employment.
