We’re solving complex challenges that traditional HPC can’t-and we’re seeking passionate, curious minds to help build the next wave of breakthroughs.\nWe are seeking a systems-oriented Software Engineer, Backend engineer to join our team!\nSome of the things you will work on and impact:\nown end-to-end delivery of essential, core functionality for Rescale customers as well as rapidly iterating on new product ideas.\n\nwork with your teammates to build and maintain high quality automation for building and testing our main customer-facing platform.\n\ndevelop and maintain critical areas of the product including identity management, elastic cloud workstations, and workflow automation.\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n2+ years of experience building and operating performant, non-trivial backend systems in production.\n\nExpertise or strong interest in the following areas: web performance optimization (including ORM and DB profiling), deploying and scaling web applications using cloud services, application security\n\nHigh enthusiasm for supporting both rapid proof-of-concept prototypes as well as robust, mission critical components for both internal and external stakeholders.\n\nComfortable with ambiguity, strong user-first mindset, and ability to come up with non-regrettable technical solutions.\n\nFlexibility and dedication to work in a team and ship exceptional software.\n\nBS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.\n\nDiversity, equity, inclusion and belonging are fundamental to our success.
