It delivers comprehensive humanitarian and development services, implementing numerous projects in partnership with federal and provincial governments and with the support of generous donors, to improve the lives and livelihoods of populations affected by disasters, floods, and other emergencies.\n\nAbout the position:\nThe International Rescue Committee is initiating a Protection focused project in five districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa funded by IOM. The initial duration of the project is 6.5 months with possible further extension. The project works toward one overarching outcome: improved access to legal support, case management, and community-based protection services, alongside stronger community structures to prevent and respond to protection risks.\nFour outputs deliver this: community-based protection mechanisms that expand awareness and access to services; case management and referral pathways for at-risk individuals; legal services, including counsel and representation; and a protection monitoring framework to systematically capture and track protection risks.\nSupply Chain Officer will be responsible to oversee day by day operational activities including, managing all procurement requests, contract, lease agreement of IRC Sindh assets, inventory, rental vehicles contracts and warehouse related matters for Sindh offices.\nThe job holder is responsible to promote accountability and ensure compliance with IRCWAY policies, Core Humanitarian Standards for Quality and Accountability (CHS), including the complaint and response mechanism (CRM), to ensure that affected communities and people are at the center of emergency response.\n· Develop and regularly update the project procurement and supply plan in line with the approved workplan, budget and implementation schedule.\n· Coordinate with vendors and relevant stakeholders and ensure timely procurement of programme, office and operational supplies in accordance with IRC procurement procedures and donor requirements.\nManage assets, inventory, rental vehicles and warehouse related matters for assigned districts.\nProvide the required administrative support to field Office.\nDevelop improved storage plan i.e. ware housing etc.\nResponsible for entering data into ERP, BVA online system and generating reports.\nReview and submission of monthly field supply chain reports on fuel consumption, vehicles usage, inventory/assets tracking reports etc.\nManage and support staff according to standard IRC guidelines.\nGenerate and review of PRTS and Commitment reports related to KP Office.\n\nKey Working Relationships:\nPosition Reports to: Office In charge / Provincial Office Supply Chain\nPosition directly supervises support staff\nJob Requirements:\nEducation: Minimum Bachelors, Master’s degree will be advantaged in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.\nWork Experience:\n- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, inventory, warehousing and/or fleet management, preferably with an international NGO or development organization.\n- Practical experience in procurement processes, vendor coordination, inventory management, asset tracking, warehousing and distribution.\n- Experience supporting field operations across multiple districts or geographically dispersed locations. Good understanding of procurement policies, donor compliance requirements and documentation standards.\n- Experience with MS Excel, Word and other standard office applications; ability to maintain and analyze inventory and procurement records.\n- Experience of working in KP particularly target districts will be preferred\nDemonstrated Skills and Competencies:\nStrong organizational, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills, and self-initiative abilities.\nAbility to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.\nExcellent communication, coordination, and team supervision skills.\nComputer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).\nWillingness and ability to travel frequently to project districts.\nCommitment to IRC’s Code of Conduct, safeguarding, PSEA, fraud prevention and other organizational policies.\nFamiliarity with the target districts dynamics including culture, administration, health systems and local development stakeholders will be an advantage\nNote: Only short-listed candidates will be called for an interview, and the Interviews will be conducted on Rolling basis.\nProfessional Standards: All International Rescue Committee workers must adhere to the core values and principles outlined in IRC Way - Standards for Professional Conduct.
