We focus on merging the work of research teams to create functioning prototypes that are ready for real-world application. Our primary aim is to transform initial concepts into practical, operational solutions.\nIf you're passionate about turning innovative ideas into effective, tangible technology in the field of aerial robotics, this is the place for you.\nAutopilot Management: Setup, maintain, and fine-tune autopilots for various drone platforms, ensuring optimal performance.\n\nPayload Integration: Install, configure, and test diverse payloads - including imaging (RGB, multispectral, thermal), sensing (LiDAR, SAR, environmental sensors), and actuation (spraying, seeding, custom tools) - to meet mission needs.\n\nAutonomy & Mission Integration: Configure and adapt autonomy modules and SDK-based systems to enable mission execution and automated operation\nEducation Requirements:\nMaster’sdegreein Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.\nRequirements:\nExperience: Minimum 2 years in flight control, UAV integration, or related fields.\n\nAutopilot & Frameworks: Hands-on expertise with PX4, ArduPilot, DJI SDKs (or equivalents), plus simulation and middleware tools such as Gazebo and ROS2.\n\nProgramming: Proficiency in C, C++, and Python for embedded development, system integration, and toolchain scripting.\n\nUAV Systems Knowledge: Practical experience across different autopilot platforms, payloads, and communication protocols.\n\nTechnical Tools: Strong skills in software/hardware debugging, simulation environments, and integration workflows for flight control systems.\n\nFlight Experience (Nice-to-Have): Experience operating drones with the appropriate pilot license is a strong asset\n\nAt TII, we help society to overcome its biggest hurdles through a rigorous approach to scientific discovery and inquiry, using state-of-the-art facilities and collaboration with leading international\ninstitutions.
