The position operates at the intersection of platform engineering, application delivery, and business continuity, partnering closely with functional teams, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.\nJOB DUTIES:\nOwn end-to-end availability, performance, and reliability of SAP platforms\nLead SAP Basis and platform operations, including monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, transports, backup, and disaster recovery\nEnsure 24x7 operational stability with strong incident, problem, and change management\nLead and develop cross-functional technical teams (Basis, ABAP, integrations, security/GRC, application support)\nDefine and manage SLAs, KPIs, and accountability across all technical services\nMaintain and optimize the SAP ECC (EHP7) landscape\nManage technical risk related to obsolete components, patching limits, custom code, and technical debt\nEnsure compliance with internal controls, audits, and regulatory requirements\nLead SAP Cloud and S/4HANA strategy and roadmap, including technical readiness\nDrive key transformation workstreams: architecture, data migration, technical conversion, clean-core remediation\nPartner with business and architecture teams to design scalable, future-proof solutions\nOversee all SAP integrations and data flows (EDI, IDocs, middleware, external partners)\nEnsure resilient, monitored, and traceable business transaction processing\nOwn SAP security and compliance, including access controls, SoD, audits, and cybersecurity alignment\nManage vendors and partners, ensuring SLA performance, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement\nDeliver success through high availability, fewer incidents, faster delivery, reduced technical debt, and strong security posture\nYOU MUST HAVE :\n5+ years SAP experience with strong technical foundation across: Basis / platform operations, ABAP and custom development lifecycle, Integrations (IDoc, EDI, APIs, middleware), SAP Security / GRC.\nProven leadership of multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed technical teams\nExperience managing complex SAP ECC landscapes\nStrong understanding of S/4HANA architecture and migration approaches\nExperience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and SAP hosting models\nExperience of migrating on-premise SAP solutions to cloud platforms\nVendor management and outsourced service delivery experience\nAdvanced verbal and written English communication skills\nWE VALUE:\nExperience with SAP RISE / Private Cloud\nKnowledge of Clean Core strategy and SAP best practices\nExperience supporting spin-offs / TSA environments\nCore Competencies\nStrong ownership mindset -
