You’ll work across a broad range of testing and inspection processes, including integrated circuit testing, Solder Paste Inspection (SPI), Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), functional testing and end-of-line testing. You’ll also play an important role in new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.\nJOB DUTIES:\nPerform and continuously improve manufacturing and functional testing processes for electronic products, including Integrated Circuit Testing (ICT), Solder Paste Inspection (SPI) and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI)\nCarry out testing, troubleshooting and failure analysis across SMT production processes, identifying root causes and supporting effective corrective actions\nDevelop, optimise and maintain test equipment, test programmes and measurement processes to improve test effectiveness, reliability and manufacturing performance\nSupport and enhance in-process, functional and end-of-line testing, ensuring robust and repeatable test processes throughout production\nInvestigate test failures, false rejects and non-conforming products, working with relevant engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve underlying issues\nAnalyse measurement results, test data and diagnostic information to identify trends, recurring failures and opportunities for process improvement\nLead and contribute to productivity and continuous improvement projects, collaborating closely with Production, R&D, Maintenance, Quality, Process Engineering, HSE, SIOP and Sourcing\nManage the commissioning, qualification and validation of new test equipment, including preparation of technical documentation and Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility (GR&R) studies\nSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, helping establish effective testing and measurement processes for products transitioning into manufacturing\nProvide technical expertise to help resolve production and product-quality issues related to testing, measurement and electronic manufacturing processes\nSupport internal and external audits, ensuring test processes, equipment and associated documentation meet applicable quality and operational requirements\nYOU MUST HAVE:\nKnowledge of electronics and printed circuit boards (PCBs), with experience of electronic manufacturing processes such as Surface Mount Technology (SMT) or Through-Hole Technology (THT) \nExperience of testing and inspection processes such as including Integrated Circuit Testing (ICT), Solder Paste Inspection (SPI) and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI)\nAbility to
