You will gainhands-on experience developing, integrating, deploying, migrating, and supporting production cloud services across the software engineering lifecycle.\nJOB DUTIES:\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable cloud-native backend services for Resideo products and customer-facing applications.\nContribute to the modernization and migration of legacy cloud applications and services.\nBuild and maintain integrations among devices, events, APIs, and downstream cloud services.\nDevelop and support microservices-based applications designed for scalability, maintainability, and independent deployment.\nApply engineering practices such as unit and integration testing, code reviews, static analysis, performance testing, and cybersecurity controls.\nUse AI-assisted development and testing tools to improve productivity and code quality.\nAssess and adopt suitable technologies, frameworks, and tools based on project requirements.\nImplement technical improvements that enhance application design, performance, reliability, and maintainability.\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.\nPartner with Product Owners, engineering, QA, DevOps/SRE, and Customer Operations teams to deliver features and resolve technical or production issues.\nOwn assigned work, troubleshoot issues, and continuously expand technical and domain knowledge.\nYOU MUST HAVE:\nBackend development and API experience, including:Strong working knowledge of C# and .NET/.NET Core; exposure to Node.js is an advantage.\nUnderstanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and service-to-service integration.\n\nFamiliarity with Git/Bitbucket for source control.\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze logs and resolve application and integration issues.\nBasic knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application concepts.\nWE VALUE:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nKnowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from design and development through testing, deployment, and production support.\nAbility to work across applications, cloud services, databases, and system integrations.\nExperience with or knowledge of relational databases, such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB or Cosmos DB.\nFamiliarity with:CI/CD and deployment tools such as Bamboo and Octopus Deploy.\nMonitoring and log-analysis tools such as Splunk or Kibana.\nPowerShell, scripting, or automation.\nFrontend technologies such as React and TypeScript for internal tools or dashboards.\nEvent-driven integrations -
