You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our products. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team driving innovation across Resideo’s diverse product portfolio.\nJob Duties:\nDesign, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for smart home products.\nCollaborate with hardware and software teams to define system requirements and architecture.\nDevelop and optimize real-time embedded systems for performance and power efficiency.\nDebug and troubleshoot firmware issues using industry-standard tools and methodologies.\nImplement and test communication protocols, including SPI, I2C, UART, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Zigbee.\nEnsure firmware quality and reliability through rigorous testing and validation.\nParticipate in design and code reviews to maintain high coding standards.\nStay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in embedded systems development.\nYou Must Have:\n8+ years of experience in firmware development.\nProficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.\nWe Value:\nExperience facilitating Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.\nDemonstrated understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery practices, with experience identifying and removing impediments that impact release frequency, deployment quality, and team velocity.\nExcellent teamwork and communication skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExperience with microcontrollers (ARM, PIC, etc.) and embedded development tools.\nFamiliarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and low-level hardware interfaces.\nKnowledge of wireless communication protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Z-Wave) is a plus.\nExperience with version control systems (Git, SVN) and software development lifecycle processes.\nExperience with IoT or smart home products.\nFamiliarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and testing.\nExposure to cloud connectivity solutions for embedded systems.\nWhat's In It For You:\nOpportunity to drive
