This role ensures reliable operation of temperature-controlled spaces and clean room systems through preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and adherence to cGMP requirements. The engineer works cross-functionally with Facilities, Quality, Validation, contractors, and vendors to support capital projects, change controls, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site's utility infrastructure.\nJob Description\nPosition Summary & Responsibilities\nProficient with engineering oversight of HVAC systems (chilled water, hot water, air handling units, exhaust systems, cleanroom environments as applicable).\nExperience supporting temperature-controlled chambers (cold rooms, controlled warehouse space, reach in standalone units).\nUnderstands clean room HVAC design requirements, and HEPA filters certification process.\nDevelops and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure system reliability and uptime.\nProvides Facilities support on Capital Projects.\nUnderstands and follows site specifications for all projects.\nParticipate in new equipment design specification. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.\nEnsures good engineering and documentation practices are used during job activities.\nConduct troubleshooting activities to support Facilities utilities and systems.\nMaintain technical documentation, SOPs, and system drawings. Proficient understanding of P&IDs.\nLead and coordinate investigations and studies.\nUse CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to manage logistics.\nIdentify temporary and permanent fixes to address issues.\nInitiate appropriate actions when process deviations occur.\nManage and own change controls, corrective actions, impact assessments, change control action items, deviations, and periodic reviews.\nMonitor records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.\nCoordinate with representatives from other departments.\nAttend team meetings to discuss progress, initiatives, and/or other matters.\nMonitor equipment and/or systems for performance and problem indicators.\nPerform data entry.\nRead, understand, and comply with cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), including general safety, lock outs, and so on.\nMaintain equipment and systems along with their certification records.\nSupport Facilities utilities and systems for issues or utilities improvements.\nAnswer compliance and facilities questions from others.\nCommunicate policies and procedures to employees.\nEstablish visual tracking and other tools to enhance audit readiness and trend analysis.\nLead process improvement activities and teams to meet strategic goals.\nMinimum Qualifications\nExperience supporting facilities systems in a GMP environment\nPrior experience in Maintenance or Technical Documentation\nStrong Interpersonal Skills, Self-Motivated\nStrong Organizational Skills\nStrong communication skills, written and verbal skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering\n5-7 Years Engineering experience in GMP environment.\nWork Schedule: [examples: 8 hours - Monday- Friday The Company reserves the right to modify work schedules at any time, with or without notice, based on business needs, operational requirements, or other considerations.
