We are committed to excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering trusted, customer-focused services that meet the highest professional and accreditation standards\n\nRole Overview\n\nThe Lead Data I/O Operator is responsible for managing the secure and accurate transfer, storage, archiving and delivery of digital media content. While ensuring file integrity and compliance with security requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage and monitor all incoming and outgoing data transfers across platforms.\nPerform SAN clean-up, archiving, and data lifecycle maintenance to optimize storage usage.\nEnsure security protocols are followed rigorously across all workflows and systems.\nGuarantee 100% accuracy in data deliveries by verifying file integrity, metadata, and specifications.\nUtilize tools such as Aspera, Signiant, and others for efficient and secure file transfers.\nInterpret and generate XML schema, metadata templates, and delivery manifests as needed.\nHandle a wide variety of audio and video file types and understand their technical specifications.\nLearn and retain an extensive range of workflows, client specs, and delivery procedures.\nMaintain highly accurate data entry, tracking, and record keeping.\nPrioritize and manage multiple tasks in coordination with Project Managers under tight deadlines.\nTroubleshoot technical or workflow-related issues and offer timely solutions.\n\nThe Lead Operator will\n\nOversee day-to-day activities of the Data I/O team to ensure operational coverage and efficiency.\nDelegate tasks and monitor team workload to keep all projects on schedule.\nTrain and mentor new and existing team members on workflows, tools, and best practices.\nAct as the primary point of contact for escalations and coordinate with cross-functional departments.\nHelp develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistency and scalability.\nIdentify inefficiencies or workflow bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve throughput.\nCoordinate with engineering and IT to resolve infrastructure or system-related issues.\nTrack performance metrics and provide feedback to management on team progress and needs.\nAssist in staffing coordination and shift planning to ensure 24/7 coverage where applicable.\n\nThe ideal candidate would possess\n\nWorking knowledge of media formats such as LTO, hard drives, ProRes, H.264, IMF, etc.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work across departments and with clients.\nStrong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.\nNatural leadership qualities with the ability to guide and support team members.\nA self-starter attitude and comfort working with minimal supervision.\nStrong problem resolution and critical thinking skills.\nFlexibility to adapt to rapidly evolving workflows and technologies.\n\nWhy Join Us\n\nAt Resillion, you'll have the opportunity to work on large-scale digital transformation programmes and enterprise SAP implementations.
