You will contribute to the development of a workplace culture that reflects ResMed’s organizational values, standards, core competencies and behaviors.\nFour key areas that you’ll always focus on are safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity for your department / area.\nWhat You'll Do\nSupport all safety programs ensuring a safe work environment\n\nReview forecasts and determine labor needs to meet daily, weekly, and monthly objectives\n\nMeet with team on a daily basis to balance labor ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient shift while meeting daily deadlines\n\nFoster an environment that harbors continuous improvement and the elimination of non-value added activities\n\nEnsure proper training of staff in order to effectively and efficiently meet customer demand\n\nSupport, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce\n\nEnsure materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory and finished goods, packaged according to specification, and shipped in a timely manner\n\nEnsure quality objectives are met while operating within the allocated budget and meeting delivery deadlines while being flexible and working efficiently\n\nManage inventory control to ensure accountability of materials and goods\n\nEstablish appropriate communications (content and frequency) with team to align focus and efforts with organizational and customer needs.\n\nEstablish and/or modify operational methods and procedures as needed\n\nRecommend changes to policies and procedures to improve area of responsibility or organization as a whole\n\nMaintain documentation and prepare reports that reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities\n\nEstablish and manage goals for self and/or team that meet or exceed departmental objectives\n\nCollaborate with peer group, senior management, and field personnel to problem solve and/or resolves issues among functional areas, other sites, or customers and the company\n\nManage and sustain product traceability systems, utilizing WMS/Oracle, to support customer and quality requirements\n\nEnsure health, safety and cleanliness of the work environment overseeing that inspection and maintenance of equipment is done on a regular basis\n\nOther tasks and responsibilities as assigned\n\nWhat You Bring\nMinimum 10 years of experience in a warehouse/distribution environment\n\nMinimum 3 years of supervisory experience\n\nMust have demonstrated experience in implementing inventory control systems, distribution operations programs and continual improvement programs\n\nStrong familiarity with MS Office applications\n\nPrior WMS experience\n\nKnowledge and understanding of federal and local OSHA safety regulations related to warehousing and shipping environments\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\n\nMust possess a customer-centric commitment to build and maintain customer relationships\n\nEnergetic, self-motivated, and quick thinking with a positive attitude\n\nWhat Sets You Apart\nBachelor’s degree (B.A.) preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nExperience with Oracle or comparable Supply Chain/Logistics systems\n\nExperience with a Warehouse Management System\n\nJob Environment:\nWarehouse environment. Incumbent will walk and may occasionally sit, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift up to 40lbs. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Must be flexible to work varying schedules, hours, and overtime as needed.
