Partnering with the VP of Engineering, Provider Solutions and the Engineering Leadership Team, you will connect engineering performance, organizational health, investment, and business outcomes.\nYour key deliverables will include an enterprise Engineering KPI framework, executive dashboards, engineering excellence initiatives, organizational health plans, and an operating rhythm that creates clarity and accountability.\nSitting at the intersection of Engineering, Finance, Product, Strategy, and HR, this is not a traditional reporting or program management position. You will apply independent judgment, challenge assumptions, and translate complex information into recommendations that help leaders direct resources toward the highest-value opportunities.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDefine and own Engineering KPIs across delivery, quality, reliability, productivity, efficiency, organizational health, and investment. \nBuild executive dashboards that reveal performance trends, emerging risks, improvement opportunities, and progress against business outcomes. \nEstablish consistent measurement definitions, data sources, and practices across engineering organizations. \nAnalyze performance patterns, identify root causes of inefficiency, and translate findings into clear recommendations and measurable improvement targets. \nLead cross-organizational engineering excellence initiatives that improve software delivery, developer productivity, quality, reliability, and operational maturity. \nCreate frameworks for assessing engineering maturity and benchmarking performance and practices internally and externally. \nEstablish an organizational health framework covering structure, capabilities, leadership capacity, and workforce sustainability. \nPartner with Engineering leadership and HR to identify capability gaps, structural barriers, and future organizational needs aligned with product and business strategy. \nDevelop prioritized organizational improvement plans with clear investment requirements, measurable outcomes, and mechanisms for assessing the effectiveness of change. \nPartner with Finance, HR, and Product on annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic workforce planning. \nConnect engineering investment, headcount, capacity, and cost with delivery performance and broader business outcomes. \nEvaluate resource allocation, organizational structure, location strategy, insourcing, outsourcing, and investment trade-offs to support leadership decisions. \nTranslate Engineering strategy into measurable objectives, initiatives, and execution plans, driving priority work from concept through completion. \nCoordinate complex initiatives across engineering organizations, products, and functions while addressing barriers and competing priorities. \nDesign and lead the Engineering Leadership Team’s operating cadence, including business reviews, strategy reviews, KPI reviews, planning, governance, and performance assessments. \nProvide leaders with timely, decision-ready insight into priorities, risks, accountability, and organizational performance. \nWhat You Bring\n10+ years of progressive experience in Engineering Operations, Business Operations, Strategy and Operations, Finance, or organizational transformation within a complex technology organization. \nA bachelor’s degree and a graduate degree in engineering, business, or an equivalent field. \nExperience leading large-scale or enterprise transformation from strategy through execution, delivering measurable improvements in performance, efficiency, or business outcomes. \nStrong understanding of modern software engineering organizations and the ways engineering effectiveness can be measured. \nExceptional analytical capability, with the ability to turn complex datasets into clear, actionable executive insight. \nDemonstrated success developing KPI frameworks, executive dashboards, and performance management processes. \nStrong financial and business acumen, including experience with budgets, workforce planning, investment decisions, or business cases. \nSuccess leading complex, cross-organizational initiatives without relying on direct authority. \nAbility to move confidently between detailed analysis and executive-level strategic conversations. \nProven ability to influence senior leaders and navigate complex organizational dynamics. \nWhat Sets You Apart\nIndependent judgment: You form a clear point of view, challenge assumptions constructively, and help leaders make stronger decisions. \nClarity in ambiguity: You bring structure to complex questions and give teams a practical path forward. \nOutcome orientation: You define success in measurable terms and maintain focus on meaningful organizational and business results. \nConstructive influence: You build alignment across competing priorities while keeping difficult decisions moving. \nPersonal accountability: You take ownership from initial insight through execution and sustained improvement. \nWhy Join Resmed\nAt Resmed, your work will help an Engineering organization make better decisions about where and how it invests its talent, capacity, and resources.
