You will turn complex infrastructure and services into a clear platform product, establish the roadmap for the next five years, and create measurable progress toward Resmed’s future connected-device goals.\nWorking across product, embedded software, cloud engineering, architecture, data, clinical, regulatory, quality, operations, finance, procurement, marketing and commercial teams, you will align current capabilities with future patient, provider and business needs. You will also lead a small IoT product team and help the platform become a more intelligent, reliable and continuously improving foundation for connected care.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDefine and continually evolve the vision, strategy and five-year direction for the Device Cloud Platform.\nAssess current platform capabilities, success measures and gaps, then translate the future vision into prioritized initiatives and a clear roadmap.\nOwn the platform lifecycle from discovery through end-of-life, balancing patient, provider, technical, operational and commercial needs.\nLead safe, scalable over-the-air software delivery, remote configuration and cloud-side services across a large connected-device fleet.\nShape device connectivity and fleet-management strategy, including communication technologies, lifecycle states and SIM management.\nMeasure platform performance across cost, value, reliability, utilization, fleet health, and customer and business outcomes.\nImprove the quality, reliability and accessibility of device and therapy data that supports digital experiences and care pathways.\nDevelop secure, scalable ecosystem and third-party integration strategies for external platforms and partners.\nPartner with approximately 13 device product managers and a direct technical team of approximately 40 to 50 people, building alignment across product, engineering, architecture and platform priorities.\nLead, coach and develop a product manager, helping the small IoT product team translate strategy into disciplined execution.\nEstablish strong cross-functional relationships, communicate trade-offs clearly and deliver tangible early wins that move the platform toward its longer-term goals.\nWhat You Bring\n10+ years in product management, product development, or relevant technical or commercial roles.\nExperience owning or shaping a platform, infrastructure product, shared service, or connected-product capability used by multiple teams.\nAbility to convert vision into strategy, roadmaps, prioritized initiatives and measurable outcomes.\nTechnical fluency across connected products, cloud platforms, telemetry, data pipelines, remote configuration and software delivery.\nExperience working in ecosystems where hardware, cloud, software and digital services operate together.\nCommercial judgement across cost, value, reliability and operational performance.\nAbility to identify platform gaps, define success measures and connect investment decisions to customer and business outcomes.\nProduct leadership capability, including leading, coaching or mentoring product managers.\nClear communication and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across organizational and functional boundaries.\nNice to have\nExperience in consumer technology, automotive or EV, telecommunications, smartphones, cloud platforms, IoT platforms, connected health, or digital services.\nBackend platform experience enabling multiple front-end products, services or experiences.\nWhat Sets You Apart\nBuilder’s Mindset: You create structure where services, strategies and initiatives need clearer direction, helping teams move from tactical delivery to purposeful execution.\nCustomer and Outcome Focus: You keep decisions grounded in the problems being solved and the value created for customers and the business.\nSystems Thinking: You connect today’s capabilities and constraints to the scalable foundations needed for future device experiences.\nCuriosity and Agility: You ask thoughtful questions, build mental models quickly and learn complex environments without losing sight of the bigger picture.\nInfluential Leadership: You build alignment across teams with different priorities and create momentum without relying solely on formal authority.\nClarity in Complexity: You communicate strategy, risks, decisions and trade-offs in a way that helps others act.\nWhy Join Resmed\nAt Resmed, connected technology helps people receive better sleep, breathing and care outside the hospital.
