product designs into safe, high-quality, and scalable manufacturing solutions.\nAs a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will be embedded within a Product Focus Team (PFT) and work closely with Production, Quality, and Product Development teams to support day-to-day manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.\nThis internship provides hands-on exposure to medical device manufacturing, engineering problem-solving, process validation, automation, and new product introduction activities in a regulated environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nProduct Focus Team (PFT) Support\nSupport Manufacturing Engineers in daily production and assembly operations.\nAssist with troubleshooting manufacturing process and equipment issues.\nParticipate in root cause investigations for quality and production issues.\nSupport implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).\nManufacturing Process & Documentation\nCreate, update, and maintain manufacturing documentation including:Work Instructions\nStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\nProcess Flow Charts\nValidation records\n\nAssist with data collection and analysis for manufacturing processes.\nSupport compliance with GMP, quality, and safety requirements.\nProcess Improvement Projects\nParticipate in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities.\nAssist in yield, productivity, and cycle time improvement projects.\nSupport development of fixtures, tooling, and simple automation solutions.\nConduct time studies and process observations to identify improvement opportunities.\nProcess Validation & NPI Support\nAssist engineers in validation activities including IQ, OQ, and PQ.\nSupport pilot builds and engineering builds for new products.\nParticipate in manufacturing readiness activities for New Product Introduction (NPI).\nSupport verification and testing activities under supervision.\nData Analysis & Reporting\nCollect and analyze manufacturing data using Excel, Power BI, or other engineering tools.\nPrepare charts, dashboards, and reports to support engineering decisions.\nMonitor key manufacturing metrics including yield, defects, downtime, and productivity.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Development teams.\nParticipate in engineering meetings and project engineering.\nBasic knowledge of manufacturing processes.\nFamiliarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).\nBasic understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts.\nProficient in
