You will work closely with other talented engineers, architects, and stakeholders to architect, implement, and deliver on our roadmap.\nResponsibilities and Accountabilities\nYou have a developer-first mentality with a deep empathy for the challenges of modern software development. \nYou have experience with the full lifecycle of product development from inception to happy customers. \nYou are comfortable presenting your ideas to your peers, team members and management. \nYou will drive our inner sourcing/open sourcing strategy and help drive Resmed's developer community in that direction. \nYou will build our cloud native mindset and drive our architecture towards it. \nYou will build and maintain the observability and reliability of our services. \nYou will participate in a 24/7, follow-the-sun on-call model for production incident management, including weekends and holidays. \nYou will drive and implement improvements in developer tools and automation. \nYou will research, design, implement, test, and document your solutions to the assigned technical problems. \nYou will collaborate across the enterprise to drive consensus and understanding. \nQualifications and Experience\nBS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology or equivalent experience. \n2+ years of professional software development experience. \nExperience with public cloud (AWS) and cloud computing concepts. \nStrong knowledge of computer science fundamentals and experience with at least one programming language, such as TypeScript, React, Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go. \nUnderstanding of test practices regardless of language or tools. \nBasic knowledge of source control, pull requests and automated quality gates using tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, etc. \nPassion for learning and problem-solving. \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \nKnowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts and practices is a plus. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience developing and maintaining Backstage, Backstage plugins or integrations for internal developer portals.\nExperience building services using cloud native technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, serverless, etc., is a plus\nProduction experience building and operating Kubernetes clusters in public cloud is a plus. \nExperience monitoring infrastructure with tools such as Datadog, Splunk, ELK, etc. \nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with experience in on-call rotations and incident management. \nJoining us is more than saying “yes” to making the world a healthier place.
