{"id":1944249,"url":"https://alion.io/job/resmed-production-controller","title":"Production Controller","company":{"id":99683,"name":"ResMed","domain":"resmed.co.uk","url":"https://alion.io/company/resmed-2","size_band":"5000+","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Workday","truth_index":{"grade":"B","score":79,"open_postings":42,"ghost_share":0,"stale_share":0.81,"repost_share":0.024,"time_to_fill_p50_days":37,"computed_at":"2026-10-06T05:45:30Z"}},"role":"Finance","role_family":"Finance","seniority":"senior","employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Johor Bahru, Malaysia"],"countries":["MY"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":13500,"max_usd":35000,"period":"year","method":"role_seniority_country_remote_cell","sample_n":12},"experience_years_min":5,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"Microsoft Excel","optional":false}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-06T05:23:57Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-06","last_verified_at":"2026-10-06T22:13:49Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":0,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":0},"description":"Role Summary\nThe Production Controller is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring production plans to ensure customer demand is fulfilled efficiently while balancing inventory levels, manufacturing capacity, and material availability.\nThis role works closely with Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Customer Service, and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to drive schedule attainment, identify supply constraints, support inventory optimization, and ensure uninterrupted production operations.\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in managing production schedules, resolving supply challenges, and improving overall planning performance to support business objectives and customer expectations.\nKey Responsibilities\nProduction Planning & Scheduling\nDevelop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer demand and operational requirements.\nReview and adjust production schedules based on material availability and manufacturing capacity.\nMonitor schedule adherence and production performance.\nEnsure production plans align with customer delivery commitments.\nSupply Planning & Capacity Management\nLead the Supply Review process to identify capacity and supply constraints.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation plans for production risks.\nMonitor short-term and long-term capacity requirements.\nSupport planning activities for new product introductions and product transfers.\nInventory Management\nBalance inventory levels while meeting production and customer requirements.\nMonitor inventory performance and identify opportunities for optimization.\nWork with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to minimize shortages and excess inventory.\nStakeholder Management\nPartner with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to ensure alignment on production priorities.\nCommunicate production risks, supply issues, and schedule changes to stakeholders.\nManage expectations regarding delivery commitments and production constraints.\nReporting & Continuous Improvement\nAnalyze planning and production performance data.\nPrepare and maintain production planning reports and KPIs.\nDrive process improvements related to planning accuracy, inventory performance, and schedule attainment.\nSupport initiatives that improve operational efficiency and supply chain performance.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in Production Planning, Production Control, Supply Planning, Master Scheduling, or a related Supply Chain function.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing operations and production planning processes.\nExperience working in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nPreferred\nExperience using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar.\nExperience with Master Production Scheduling (MPS).\nExperience in capacity planning and inventory management.\nExposure to NPI and supply review processes.\nExperience within medical device, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing environments.\nAPICS/CPIM certification is an advantage.\nNote: This role to be based in iPark, Senai Johor Bahru\nJoining us is more than saying “yes” to making the world a healthier place.
