Assists in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of automated manufacturing systems. This role focuses on robotics, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, ensuring system reliability, minimal downtime, and continuous process improvements.\nWhat You'll Do\nEnsures all necessary safety protocols, information and safety hazards connected with work being performed are followed and\n\nEnsures effective preventative maintenance plans and schedules for automated equipment and systems.\n\nMust be “hands on” Will keep all PM documentation up to date within the Quality System\n\nKeeps management appraised of escalating abnormal or critical situations.\n\nUtilize complex blueprints and schematics and troubleshoot/analyze problems.\n\nPerform preventive maintenance duties as they are developed\n\nWhat You Bring\nExcellent technical and operational knowledge of automated equipment and systems\n\nAbility to troubleshoot complex automated systems controlled by computers programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and microprocessors in a high-volume work environment.\n\nMust be highly proficient in pneumatics and electrical systems.\n\nAbility to read and interpret CAD layouts illustrated parts breakdown (IPB) diagrams and electrical circuitry diagrams and drawings.\n\nStrong aptitude for repair and maintenance activities\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently\n\nAbility to operate independently to multi-task and to prioritize quickly\n\nKnowledge of Allen Bradley Controls systems preferred.\n\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE\nTechnical vocational training preferred\n\nBS Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred\n\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in a related position required, preferably in a manufacturing facility\n\nWhat Sets You Apart\nExperience in the medical manufacturing industry.\n\nExperience in a high volume, manufacturing environment.\n\nMinimum of 2 years of related experience\n\nWhy Join Resmed\nWe are shaping the future at ResMed, and we recognize the need to build on and broaden our existing skills and continue to attract and retain the world’s best talent.
