From single-site trials to complex, multi-country programmes, we ensure our customers have the right equipment, in the right place, at the right time, enabling them to focus on delivering successful clinical outcomes, wherever their trials take place.\nHow will you make an impact & Requirement\nRole Mission\nAs a Transportation & Logistics Sr. Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of clinical trial equipment and materials across global supply chains. You will coordinate inbound shipments, manage customs and transportation requirements, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support exceptional service delivery and achieve operational performance targets.\nKey Responsibilities \nPrepare import and transportation documentation for EU and Rest of World (ROW) shipments, ensuring compliance with customs, regulatory, and company requirements. \nCoordinate inbound transportation activities, arranging collections and transport bookings using the most efficient and cost-effective methods. \nAct as a key point of contact for clinical sites, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders throughout the shipment lifecycle. \nMonitor and track shipments, proactively identifying and resolving delays to ensure on-time delivery and return of equipment. \nProvide accurate freight quotations, shipping costs, commercial invoices, and transportation information to internal and external customers. \nLiaise with Exporters of Record (EORs), customs agents, brokers, carriers, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth shipment execution.\nMaintain accurate shipment records within ERP systems, compliance files, and departmental tracking tools.\nVerify transportation and freight invoices, ensuring charges align with agreed quotations, contracts, and applicable rates.\nManage shared mailboxes, ensuring enquiries are handled promptly, accurately, and in line with service level expectations.\nEscalate issues appropriately and communicate shipment status updates to stakeholders across the business.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, compliance, and customer experience.\nProvide administrative and operational support to the wider logistics and supply chain team as required.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will have strong transportation, customs, and shipment coordination experience, combined with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities while ensuring outstanding service and operational excellence.\nEssential skills and experience:\nPrevious experience in transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, import/export operations, or supply chain coordination is a plus \nStrong understanding of international shipping documentation, customs processes, and transportation requirements. \nExperience coordinating shipments across multiple regions, including EU and international destinations. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment. \nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when handling documentation and compliance records. \nExperience working with ERP systems, transportation management systems, or similar operational platforms. \nExcellent organisational and administrative skills. \nStrong communication and stakeholder manage ment skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners. \nExperience tracking shipments, resolving transportation issues, and proactively communicating updates. \nAbility to work independently and use initiative to resolve operational challenges. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word. \nDesirable (but not essential):\nExperience within clinical trials, life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries. \nKnowledge of customs regulations, import/export compliance, and Incoterms. \nExperience working with freight carriers, customs brokers, and global logistics providers. \nFamiliarity with GDP (Good Distribution Practice) or other regulated supply chain environments. \nExperience supporting transportation cost analysis and freight invoice validation. \nKnowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent logistics platforms. \nAdditional language skills. \nExposure to continuous improvement initiatives within logistics or supply chain functions. \nWhat We Offer\nAt Resonant, we’re more than a leading life sciences company,we’re a global team united by a shared purpose: the uncompromising pursuit of quality to help our customers move science forward.\nWhen you join us, you become part of a growing global community of more than 850 dedicated professionals.
