Collaborate within a small local R&D(Lightspeed) team and with Lightspeed members from other sites to complete prototype product builds and develop new processes. If you’re passionate about innovation and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.\nResponsibilities\nAssist in defining, planning, and execute prototype projects per quoted conditions with innovation and urgency, ensuring product quality meets or exceeds technology specific workmanship standards.\nApply fundamental engineering and scientific principles to process development challenges.\nAble to setup and modify existing workstation program software to produce acceptable product using Resonetics Technology.\nUnderstanding of basic parameters and variables that effect outputs.\nRead and interpret print specifications on development projects, ensure all required visual and geometric measurements are taken and documented per Quality Systems requirements.\nTake ownership and responsibility of assigned tasks and quality of deliverables.\nDocument process parameters and project details for each project accurately per Resonetics Quality Systems requirements.\nAble to measure product using site metrology equipment either manually or using an established computer controlled measurement program.\nCollaborate with an Engineer to complete a Quote.\nTake ownership of data for responsibilities as assigned, ensuring data is accurately presented in Resonetics digital systems.\nParticipate in Advanced Technology Group activities and deliverables as requested.\nStrong productivity and independence, ability to work under minimal supervision.\nSeeks continuous self-improvement, open and willing to accept constructive criticism.\nWorks effectively on a given task, driving to completion.\nParticipate in customer calls as requested.\nProactively communicate with the customer on issues with a recovery plan, status, and results of an order with support from your manager.\nAbility to adapt quickly and positively to changing priorities and processes.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering or similar area of study.\nSolid understanding of materials science and chemical processes and the ability to apply that knowledge to the challenge at hand\nAbility to troubleshoot and optimize complex processes in an efficient and reliable manner\nFluent in Microsoft Office: MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint... etc.\nSome experience with the following: TMV / GRR, Process Capability, Attribute vs. Variable Data in Validation, OQs/PQs, Engineering Study / DOE\nExperience using computer-controlled measurement systems\nExercise Engineering leadership on internal and external meetings, drive conversations towards desired goals and outcomes in a respectful & professional manner\nAbility to present and convey complex engineering ideas to internal and external customers\nStrong time management and organizational skills, sensitive to the use of other people's time\nStrong problem-solving skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with ISO certified Quality Systems in medical device manufacturing\nExperience in a medical device manufacturing environment\nExperience designing and manufacturing complex tooling or fixturing for various applications\nPhysical Demands\nStanding and walking for short periods of time\nAbility to use a microscope, including manipulating small object under a microscope\nCompensation\nThe compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $60,000-80,000\nFor temp, temp-to-hire, and regular full-time positions, our company policy is that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
