This position performs routine or repetitive operations that meet production standards and quality requirements.\nResponsibilities\nOperate Swiss CNC machines. \nRun production and deburr parts as required.\nChange broken/dull tools and perform offsets as required to keep the machine producing conforming parts.\nPerform In-Process-Inspection on parts being manufactured and record inspection data.\nInspect parts using microscopes, micrometers, OGP, gage pins, thread gages, indicators, calipers and other equipment.\nRead and understand layouts, job travelers and blueprints.\nUnderstand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)\nEnsure written manufacturing processes and procedures are being followed. \nEnsure proper compliance with company quality and safety standards.\nEnsure preventative maintenance duties are completed for equipment and maintain a clean and safe work area. \nEmployee must conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner, as well as maintaining a high standard of job performance.\nActively participate in continuous improvement activities.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School diploma or Equivalent\n2-4 years’ related experience and/or training; and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.\nAbility to adapt quickly and positively to changing priorities and processes.\nAbility to work under minimal supervision.\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior experience and/or training in production setting and comparable manufacturing preferred.\nProven understanding of tooling requirements to setup and operate CNC Swiss machines, including pre-setting of tools.\nAbility to read and edit programs. \nFamiliarity with ISO Quality System, particularly in medical device manufacturing.\nAbility to read and understand blueprints and specifications.\nStrong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math. \nPhysical Demands\nPrior experience and/or training in production setting and comparable manufacturing preferred.\nUnderstanding of tooling requirements to setup and operate machines in the department, including pre-setting of tools.\nFamiliar with operating CNC Swiss Machines with Fanuc Controls \nFamiliarity with ISO Quality System particularly in medical device manufacturing.\nAbility to read and understand blueprints and specifications. \nStrong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math.\nCompensation\nThe compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $22-25/hr\nFor temp, temp-to-hire, and regular full-time positions, our company policy is that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
