This position concentrates primarily on the timely completion of assigned tasks in order to maintain established preventative maintenance schedules and to effectively repair unplanned equipment failures in a timely manner. Additional areas of focus include but are not limited to: PC support, process control, machine assembly and fabrication, wiring, records keeping, equipment refurbishments, and troubleshooting. The hands on nature of this position must be emphasized.\nResponsibilities\nWorks with other technicians to complete equipment refurbishment, assembly, and fabrication as required.\nPerform troubleshooting and repair of equipment and ancillary support systems under the direction of other technicians.\nWith input from other technicians perform various equipment and systems related planned and unplanned maintenance activities including timely completion and filing of service records.\nRequired Qualifications\n50% completion if a Degree/Diploma in Robotics, Instrumentation, Automation or relevant Electro-Mechanical field.\nAbility to use basic hand tools and multimeter.\nDemonstrated ability to apply the theories and principles of the following disciplinesPhysics\nMathematics\nHydraulics/Pneumatics\nAC/DC wiring - electrical theory\nElectronics\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nDemonstrated electrical and mechanical knowledge.\nDemonstrated technical writing skills.\nSelf motivated with the ability to work independently.\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to lift 50 pounds\nCompensation\nThe compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications.
