This role will be responsible for performing financial analysis, reviewing financial statements, month end analytical reviews, the preparation and ownership of the monthly forecasts, annual budget, and leading financial business modelling processes. This role will lead efforts designed to improve reporting accuracy, working capital measurement and reductions, cash flow analytics and other value adding ad hoc projects as they arise. This will be a hybrid position, on-site three days per week.\nResponsibilities\nSupport the Sr. Manager of Finance (located in Nashua, NH) on all aspects of the closing process that includes review and analysis\nLead projects to create repeatable processes in the following areas:\nPricing\nWorking capital initiatives\nMonthly Gross Margin analysis\nSales and margin forecasting\nGeneral ledger allocations and divisional reporting\nOther areas that arise\nWith input from and oversight of the Sr. Manager of Finance, assist with and contribute to the following areas:\nAnnual budget\nMonthly and quarterly forecasting\nCapital spend analysis and reporting\nRevenue outlooks - 3-month, 6-month, etc.\nStrategic Plan and Analysis\nMonthly and Quarterly Business Reviews\nWork with leadership to develop and refine business case assessments across the business, to support project and capital spending decisions\nAdditional ad-hoc assignments and projects supporting departments across the organization including month-end financial reporting, longer-term business plan development, benchmarking, and process analysis\nAnalyze the company’s business practices and identify/explore opportunities for improvement in financial productivity and processes\nOther projects and analysis as directed and/or needed by the business\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum of BA/BS degree with a specialization in finance, statistics, economics, marketing, or similar business degree\n7-10 years of finance or accounting experience, with at least 5 years related to financial analysis\nExperience in manufacturing required\nStrong Knowledge of cost accounting principles \nAbility to analyze and make recommendations on accounting entries\nExperience with variance analysis (actuals to forecast comparison) and period-to-period analysis\nProven technical, quantitative, and critical-thinking skills, with high levels of independent judgment, initiative and creativity to identify and clearly communicate key performance drivers to senior management\nAbility to manage multiple projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for results\nAbility to work with complex data from multiple sources\nDemonstrated effective written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills\nEstablished ability using Microsoft Office, with high proficiency with Excel\nPreferred Qualifications\nHyperion or equivalent financial planning tool experience\nStrong database and system skills\nExperience working in a manufacturing environment\nPhysical Demands\nLight office work\nCompensation\nThe compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications.
