This individual's primary responsibility will be to laser process components through minimum instructions that may be in the form of drawings and written or verbal direction, and complete visual inspections. Employee must become familiar with concepts of procedures and are aided with general supervision. Additionally, the individual in this position may be asked to provide leadership and direction to newly hired or more junior employees. This position is part of a team and a heavy emphasis will be placed on the individual's ability to participate in a team environment.\nShift: 1st Shift Monday-Friday (M-Thurs, 7a-4:00p; Fri 7a-11a)\nResponsibilities\nPerform medium to high complexity tasks related to customer specific process requirements. Must be able to comprehend documentation requirements.\nVerify system conditions or equipment status before operation. Employee may be required to adjust system settings within established guidelines\nInspect components to insure specifications have been met. Must be able to complete visual inspections on product. \nEnter data and report issues as required.\nTake responsibility as directed for all required process documentation\nTrain other employees on production processes or equipment usage as requested by Supervisor.\nMaintain a clean and safe work area.\nFollows instructions of the Supervisor and/or Production Manager and conduct all work according to Resonetics policy and good safe labor practices.\nThe use of laser radiation (non-ionizing) sources will be used only in a manner that is safe for all Resonetics employees and visitors. The various wavelengths of laser light utilized at Resonetics will be taken into consideration in this and other personal protection policies by the laser operator.\nEmployee must conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner and is responsible for maintaining a high standard of conduct and job performance.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent or completion of primary school in Costa Rica\nMinimum three years of experience in a comparable manufacturing environment preferably utilizing computer aided machinery or similarly equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to follow detailed technical processes using mechanical equipment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with automated inspection equipment\nFamiliarity with ISO Quality Systems particularly in medical device manufacturing. \nUse of optical inspection equipment. This may be defined as a magnifier, microscope, and/or equipment used for measuring capacity.\nPhysical Demands\nGood dexterity as many jobs require the handling of many small components.\nCompensation\nThe compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $19.50-21.00/hr\nFor temp, temp-to-hire, and regular full-time positions, our company policy is that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
