and developing specialized machinery for ammunition and energetics handling equipment, with particular emphasis on creating detailed machine assembly drawings for complex press-type operations. \nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop detailed 2D assembly drawings and 3D models for complex mechanical systems, with a focus on press-type machinery used in ammunition and energetics handling.\n\nTranslate existing physical (paper-based) drawings into accurate digital SolidWorks models.\n\nBuild complete machine models from scratch based on conceptual designs, technical specifications, and engineering requirements.\n\nIntegrate purchased and off-the-shelf components using industry best practices (proper mating, constraints, configurations, and BOM management).\n\nApply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to optimize designs for production efficiency, cost, and reliability.\n\nPerform strength, stability, and durability calculations for structures (analytical and FEM methods) and optimize mass and dimensional characteristics.\n\nPrepare a full package of technical documentation: specifications, technological maps, bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, product passports, and drawings compliant with relevant standards (ESKD, GOST, ISO, ASME, as applicable).\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, safety, procurement, electronics/optics integration) to ensure designs meet all operational and safety requirements.\n\nParticipate in technical design reviews, prototype testing, and certification processes.\n\nTravel within Ukraine as needed to evaluate and document existing machinery in operational use, gaining firsthand knowledge of the equipment.\n\nModernize and improve existing solutions to increase reliability, accuracy, and reduce weight and energy consumption.\n\nConduct technical root-cause analysis of problems, failures, or damage and develop corrective actions.\n\nIntegrate modern technologies where applicable: 3D printing, composite materials, modular structures, and shock absorption systems.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum 3 years of proven professional experience in mechanical design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex assembly drawings and 3D modeling.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in SolidWorks (modeling, assemblies, drawings, PDM) and AutoCAD (2D drafting).\n\nSolid understanding of engineering drawing standards (ESKD, GOST, ISO, ASME, as applicable).\n\nExperience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), tolerance analysis, and GD&T.\n\nKnowledge of the component base: optimal selection of fasteners, rolled metal, and materials for specific structures.\n\nProfessional working proficiency in English: reading technical documentation, writing reports, and communicating with international teams.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nHigher technical education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) in Mechanical Engineering, Machine Building, or a related field from an accredited Ukrainian or international university.\n\nExperience designing equipment for ammunition processing, energetics handling, or similar high-precision/high-safety applications.\n\nFamiliarity with finite element analysis (FEA), motion studies, or simulation tools in SolidWorks.\n\nExperience working with pressure vessels, hydraulic/pneumatic presses, or automated loading/unloading systems.\n\nExperience working with composite materials, knowledge of their production technologies, and design features.\n\nFamiliarity with 3D printing technologies and their application in
