This role will work on multiple stations within the kitchen and ensure the preparation and quality of food are to outlet standards.\nPrimary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to:\nPreparation of food according to restaurant recipes and/or guests’ request(s).\nAssist multiple stations with food prep, cooking and plating (e.g. broiler, sauté, fryer, garde manger, etc.…), when needed.\nMaintain the highest level of food presentation and quality.\nEnsure sanitation procedures and organization of work area(s).\nAdhere to all health code regulations and standards.\nMaintain food and supply inventory and notify management of restocking requirements.\nAttend and participate in daily briefings or pre-shifts.\nObtain and maintain position-specific licensing.\nEnsure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.\nUse personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications: Includes but is not limited to:\nAbility to translate recipes into dishes.\nCompatible knife skills.\nAbility to effectively communicate in English.\nPolished appearance and demeanor.\nExcellent customer service skills.\nAbility to obtain maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.\nAbility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.\nPreferred:\nPrevious experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.\nMinimum Education and Experience:\nAt least one year of cooking experience in a full-service restaurants or similar environment.\nPreferred:\nDegree in Culinary Arts or a related field or training.\nCertificates, Licenses, Regulations:\nProof of eligibility to work in the United States.\nAt least 18 years of age.\nPosition required licenses: Food Handler card\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
