This role is responsible for the administration, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, and continuous improvement of network services supporting a 24x7 hospitality and gaming operation.\nThe Network Administrator works across the property, including data centers, MDFs, IDFs, offices, guest-facing areas, and other operational locations. The role combines day-to-day network administration with infrastructure projects, security and compliance activities, vendor coordination, documentation, and proactive network improvement.\nThis is a 100% on-site position, five days per week, designed for an IT professional who enjoys being hands-on, working closely with business and technology teams, and solving challenging technical issues in a fast-paced, 24/7 operating environment.\nPhysical & Work Environment\nThis position requires hands-on work in network and operational areas throughout the property. The role includes frequent walking and sitting, occasional standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, and climbing stairs. The position may require occasional climbing of ladders and working at heights up to 12 feet, as well as lifting equipment up to 40 pounds. The role operates in a fast-paced environment and may require work during scheduled maintenance windows, after-hours, or emergency events.\nWhy This Role Matters\nOur network is a critical foundation for a 24x7 hospitality and gaming operation. The Network Administrator plays a direct role in maintaining the connectivity, security, performance, and resilience that allow our property and technology teams to operate reliably.\nResponsibilities\nStrategy & Planning\nDesign and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure network capacity meets existing and future requirements.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration.\nOversee all reports and documentation related to supported systems\nDevelop proactive maintenance schedules for network equipment\nDevelop Disaster Recovery plans, procedures, and processes for network area.\nCreate and maintain the enterprise’s security architecture design.\nOperational Management\nManage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all network equipment.\nPractice IT asset management, including maintenance of component inventory and related documentation.\nOversee projects and project portfolio for network area\nDesign and enforce request handling and escalation policies and procedures.\nManage all network security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.\nManage all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, and UPSs.\nEnsure network connectivity of all workstations.\nPractice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.\nAdminister and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.\nPerform server and security audits.\nPerform system backups and recovery.\nMonitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.\nProven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/WLAN related issues.\nManage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team.\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of the IT security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes and the development of new attacks and threat vectors.\nSelect and acquire additional security solutions or enhancements to existing security solutions to improve overall enterprise security\nResponds to all system security weak points and partners with other teams and third party vendors to resolve security issues.\nPromotes positive public relations.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nEducation & Certifications\nFour-year university degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.\nIndustry certifications in networking, cybersecurity, cloud, or related areas are desired.\nCasino gaming, hospitality or other 24x7 operational environment experience is desirable.\nKnowledge & Experience\nMinimum of five (5) years of hands-on enterprise network administration experience in a complex, high-availability environment.\nHands-on experience with Cisco enterprise networking hardware and software.\nHands-on experience with Palo Alto firewall/security platforms and Ruckus wireless infrastructure is strongly preferred.\nDemonstrated experience administering and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLANs, routing, switching, VPN, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, wireless networking, and network resiliency/redundancy.\nStrong understanding of TCP/IP networking, subnetting, routing and switching protocols, network segmentation, wireless standards, and Internet/network services.\nExperience with network configuration management, configuration backups, recovery testing, change management, and technical documentation.\nExperience with network security principles, firewall administration, secure remote access, network segmentation, security monitoring, and vulnerability remediation.\nWorking knowledge of PCI DSS and NIST Cybersecurity Framework principles.\nExperience with network and system auditing, security assessment techniques, and infrastructure compliance requirements.\nExcellent hardware and network troubleshooting skills, including structured problem diagnosis and root-cause analysis.\nCompetence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits.\nWorking knowledge of data center physical infrastructure
