Position Overview

The FieldTrainingAudiologistwillcontributeto salesand profitabilityby providingproduct and softwaretrainingdesignedto increasecustomer knowledge,skillsandfamiliarity withthe ReSoundproduct lines.The positionalsofunctionsto provideaudiological support,whichincludeshearingaidfittingandtroubleshootingassistance, to influence buying behavior change from our customers. This position also includes providing audiology, technical and product training to ReSound employees. This position requires extensive field travel over large geographies with overnights on a weekly basis.

The Role Expectations are:

• Execute highqualityandconsistentcustomer training using Adult Learning Principles to elicit product buying behavior change
• Supportsalesof ReSound products withinthe US by workingclosely and cohesivelywithassignedsales teams
• Create customer training needsassessments and training plans to provideappropriatetrainingsolutionsfor accounts with measurable outcomes
• Regularlycommunicatepertinentaccountinformation to territory sales team members
• Assist sales teams and overall sales support at national level conventions
• Primary eventsinclude,butare notlimitedto, the following:ConsumerEducationSeminars,OpenHouses,andCEUSeminarsandongoing“inclinic”product trainingsessions
• Playkey rolein promotionand demonstrationof products duringlaunchtrainings
• Provideconsultativeresources whichwillhelpdevelopthe businessgrowth of the customer to meet ReSound’s business needs
• Schedule travel independently and within corporate guidelines that maximize the effectiveness and cost efficiencies while maintaining a full zoned week schedule.
• Maintainappropriate administrative records. This includes maintaining expenses within published corporate guidelines, keeping your work calendar and zonal planning up to date, and attending all team and management calls
• Interact withMarketing,Sales,CustomerService,ProductManagement,Technical SupportandResearch& Developmentto ensure quality customer experiences
• Continuously developtrainingcontent through provided materials as well as creation of new materials
• Otherdutiesas assignedby management

• Proficient with oral and written communication across and upward
• Confident in public speaking and workshop facilitations

Desired Qualifications

Required Education (if necessary):

• AuD or PhD in Audiology. Master’s Degree in Audiology considered
• Current state license in Audiology

Experience:

• Clinical experience fitting patients with amplification in a variety of audiological environments

Travel:

• Extensive travel by air, auto and train
• Ability to travel 75% of the time
• Ability to manage travel expenses through personal and corporate reimbursement.

Location: Greater Boston Area & Hartford Connecticut.

Pay Transparency Notice:

Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range from $105K,000 to $110,000 /yr. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Compensation for roles at GN depend on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
