This Pricing Analyst position is a new position that will join an existing Pricing Desk within Resource Innovations, creating an excellent opportunity to help scale our Pricing Desk and work within a dynamic, innovative, and sales driven organization.\nIn this role, the Pricing Analyst will compile all pricing inputs to ensure compliance with RFP requirements. The ideal candidate will review proposal requirements, aid in developing a pricing strategy, and support negotiations for our software-enabled clean energy solutions for utilities as well as commercial, industrial and residential energy customers to support the rapidly changing industry and clean energy transition. This high-visibility role will interact regularly with Resource Innovations’ executive team and functional groups across our organization to develop and present pricing solutions that drive increased deal capture and win rates.\nResource Innovations is a women-led energy transformation firm focused on impact. With every step, we're leading the charge to power change.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nReviews RFP requirements, plans and manages pricing activities throughout the RFP process, focusing on achievability and accountability of deadlines.\nMaintains excellent, effective, and persuasive relationships with cross-functional teams, and outside partners, ensuring alignment to meet evolving clientsolutions\n\nCollaborates with cross-functional teams to understand the cost components associated with our products and services.\nCollects, manages, and validates inputs from various sources both internally and from subcontractors to consolidate into the final pricing model\nCreates and drives delivery deadlines to ensure all inputs are included in pricing and formal approval are received prior to proposal submission.\nAccurately completes required documentation Including proposal documents in accordance with RFP requirements, internal recording in accordance with business best practices, and opportunity-specific, finance-related data in Salesforce\nAnalyzes historical benchmarks, industry standards, sales trends, competitor intel, market factors and client feedback to establish competitive pricing\nPresents pricing models and financial analysis to the leadership team for final approvalIncorporates learned knowledge into new pricing models that results in increased margin performance and increased win rates and ensures pricing strategies align with overall business goals and revenue targets.\n\nDrives innovation by implementing best practices, and promoting continuous process improvement to benefit both client outcomes and business performance\nOther duties as assigned\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in business, finance, energy, engineering or related field of study.\n1-3 years’ of experience in business consulting, finance, engineering, or a related field.\nIntermediate Microsoft Excel capabilities and proficient skills with other Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools (Salesforce), and BI/BA platforms and tools.\nFinancial and Analytical Acumen with experience using and maintaining pricing tools and templates.Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and dynamic presentation skills.\n\nCollaborative, curious, proactive, and engaged with the leadership team to make RI a great company to work for all employees.\nPreferred skills, education and experience\nOperations analysis or business consulting experience\nPricing template or tool development, model and scenario building\nFinancial analysis or corporate finance experience\nExperience presenting to senior team members\nClient facing experience\nBenefits\nAbout Resource Innovations\nResource Innovations (RI) is a women-led energy transformation firm focused on impact. The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position.
