The selected candidate will develop and maintain software solutions in a Department of Defense environment, contributing throughout the software development lifecycle-from translating customer requirements into functional solutions to testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing support. This role is well suited to a detail-oriented developer with strong software life cycle management experience and an interest in building reliable applications for mission-focused users.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, configure, and maintain software functionality based on customer requirements.\nContribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.\nDevelop and support applications using .NET technologies and modern front-end frameworks.\nTroubleshoot and debug applications, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.\nApply modern application architecture, responsive design, and user experience principles.\nWork within a DoD environment and support development activities using a DevSecOps pipeline.\nUse source control, participate in code reviews, and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD practices.\nCollaborate with customers and team members using Agile/Scrum processes.\nSupport SharePoint-based solutions, as needed.\nRequirements\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nThree to seven years of experience with software development technologies such as:\n.NET Core and/or .NET Framework\nC#\nEntity Framework\nSQL\nRESTful APIs and web services\nAngular or another modern front-end framework, such as React or Vue\nAngular Material or a comparable UI/CSS framework\nExperience developing and supporting applications hosted on Linux or Windows systems.\nExperience with modern application architecture, responsive design, and user experience principles.\nExperience with source control tools such as Git, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.\nAbility to work in a DoD environment and support development within a DevSecOps pipeline.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and troubleshooting ability.\nAbility to understand customer needs and translate requirements into software functionality.\nDoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.) required at time application is submitted. \nClearance Requirements\nAn Interim DoD Secret clearance is required to start. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
