This role supports the design, development, and delivery of software solutions for surveillance, command and control, and weapon systems.\nThis position is ideal for a mid-level developer with strong technical fundamentals and experience working in structured development environments such as Agile.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications for DoD systems\nSupport full software development lifecycle activities in Agile or similar environments\nDevelop and optimize software for Linux-based systems using C, C++, and Java\nAnalyze user requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions\nTroubleshoot and resolve software and system-level issues\nCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders\nContribute to team deliverables and project reporting as required\nRequirements\n3-7 years of experience developing software for DoD systems (surveillance, C2, or weapon systems preferred)\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field\nExperience developing in Linux environments\nProficiency in C, C++, and Java\nDoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE or equivalent)\nActive T5 (Top Secret) security clearance\nBenefits\nAt RMC, we're committed to your career growth!
