This full-time, on-site position at Hill AFB, UT, is contingent upon contract award or position availability.\nThe selected applicant will provide technical expertise and guidance in solving complex engineering issues. Job duties include:\nProvide technical support in all aspects of hardware and software design analysis, development, integration, and implementation.\nIdentify the appropriate technologies to solve engineering issues. \nAssist the procurement team with the procurement of software and the tracking of developer software licenses.\nSupport data analyst with the data archiving and data processing of radar-related data. \nSupport the development and maintenance of applications written in C++ and Python. \nWork with Mission Critical Applications and advanced graphical displays.\nAssist technical writers with the development of software documentation.\nAssist in the analysis of change requests impacting the RADES applications and the development of effective solutions.\nPerform component and full regression testing of RADES applications and environments.\nSupport project milestone development, management, and reporting of RADES application maintenance, repair, and test activities.\nRequirements\n Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline AND eight (8) years of experience; \n OR a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline AND six (6) years of experience is required; \n OR In lieu of a degree, thirteen (13) total years of experience may be considered.\n An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.\nExtensive experience coding large application packages, up to 100,000 lines, to include debugging and troubleshooting. Highly preferred candidates will be able to research and understand theoretical mathematical modeling and then be able to implement that modeling in the software applications being developed.
