If you're looking for a place where your contributions have real impact, you’ll fit right in.\nWe do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters.\n RESPEC seeks a CQA Construction Inspection Technician to support our Morgantown, WV location.\nThe Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Construction Inspection Technician is responsible for performing construction quality assurance inspections and maintaining detailed documentation for Energy and Civil Engineering projects. This role works closely with Construction Inspection Management and Project Managers to ensure project specifications, standards, and timelines are met. Additional responsibilities include:\nPerform construction quality assurance inspections at Energy and Civil Construction Projects (Ensure the contractor is constructing the location in accordance with the plan design and DEP regulations)\nPerform soil compaction testing including sieve analysis, one-point proctors and nuclear gage testing, and proof roll testing\nPerform environmental inspection for E&S controls and Permit Compliance\nMonitor on-site contractor and work performed. Coordinate tasks and any deviation with the original design with the On-site Management, RESPEC Management and RESPEC PMs as required for the specific changes\nCreate project documentation including daily field reports, testing reports, and document equipment in operation and idle on location. Track site visitors and deliveries\nCoordinate with RESPEC Management and Staff, On-Site Contractors, and Clients on the timeline of the completion of project milestones\nDuring periods of no CQA field work, use your field service and technical experience to assist RESPEC with other field service programs such as but not limited to AUTOCAD & Civil 3D drafting, Operations, and Engineering Support Services\n The ideal candidate will have the following:\nBachelor's or Associate's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or Engineering is preferred\n1 - 3 years of experience in the oil and gas field or heavy equipment operation/site civil excavation experience preferred\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\nWillingness to perform fieldwork year-round, potentially for extended durations.\nAbility to work with a strong technical team, represent and communicate with the Client\nAbility to work cooperatively with Contractors\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail\nGood written and oral communications\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to prioritize work demands to meet deadlines while exercising independent judgment and working independently\n Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise.
