If you're looking for a place where your contributions have real impact, you’ll fit right in.\nWe do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters.\n RESPEC seeks a field scientist to assist with our environmental and solid waste projects throughout West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.\nPrimary activities include:\nPerform field sampling of water, soil, air and materials.\nSupport engineering, geologic, hydrogeologic, and environmental investigations.\nSupport geologic and engineering tasks in the office, including data analysis and report preparation.\nDevelop your technical knowledge through diverse project experience across multiple industries.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes.\n The ideal candidate will have the following:\nBachelor’s or associate degree in Environmental Science.\n0-2 years of relevant experience.\nStrong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.\nWillingness to perform fieldwork year-round, potentially for extended durations.\nExcellent technical writing and communication skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).\nExperience with CAD or ArcGIS is a plus.\n Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise.
