If you're looking for a place where your contributions have real impact, you’ll fit right in.\nWe do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters.\n RESPEC seeks a Senior Civil Project Manager located in our Sarasota, FL location.\nThis role involves all aspects of managing residential and commercial land development projects, including contracts, budgets, design, workload, and permitting. Responsibilities include:\nProviding oversight on various construction projects and working with construction inspectors\nDeveloping and producing conceptual, preliminary, and final construction design drawings\nAssisting with the preparation of construction plans, detail drawings, and project specifications\nReviewing construction plans, performing horizontal and vertical roadway alignment calculations, and conducting utility research and coordination\nAssisting with permitting submittals\nPerforming quantity calculations and completing engineering cost opinions\n The ideal candidate will have the following:\nBS in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field\nProfessional Engineering (PE) license in Florida, or the ability to obtain or transfer license within 1 year of start date\nApproximately 10+ years of experience\nExperience in contract administration, permitting, earthwork, site grading, utilities, stormwater management, roadway design, hydrology and hydraulic calculations, and utility design\nFamiliarity with development and design processes that are specific to local geographic markets\nExperience with AutoCAD and various hydrology/hydraulics software, including StormCAD, WaterCAD, ICPR, or similar software packages\n Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. The salary range for this position begins at $125,000. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package.
