The Surveyor and CAD Designer will provide survey and CAD support for the technical drafting of projects specific to the land development industry. Assigned projects will vary in size and complexity and be produced in an office team setting with project managers, design engineers, and other CAD operators.\nEssential Job Function/Responsibilities\nAssist with field survey and stakeout.\n Assist with Construction Quality Assuranc.\nPrepare figures and drawings from rough sketches or from general engineering and design information.\nResearch and obtain standards and codes required by client to develop plans.\nCollaborate with project managers to develop and modify designs based on project requirements.\nRevise drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.\nAssist project managers with model presentation for project teams and client meetings.\nConduct design reviews to identify potential issues prior to release.\n Skills/Abilities\nProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or related software and MS Access databases and/or database design is required\nExperience workingWith a team producing plans from survey to final design\nEfficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven team environment\nUnder the direction of multiple project engineers\nIndependently and with others while working on multiple projects concurrently\n\nCivil engineering experience is preferred.\nCritical thinking ability and attention to detail\nAbility to learn new duties and adjust to new situations encountered on the job within a reasonable amount of time\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work occasional weekends and beyond normal business hours when needed\nEducation/Experience\nHigh school diploma. or its equivalent.\nExperience with Office365; applications such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams\nMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience\n Work Schedule: This is a regular full-time position with benefits.\nCompensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise.
