We owe our success to our focus on servant leadership, and our commitment to hiring top talent from the most innovative companies from both inside and outside the multifamily industry.\nLocation: 2380 Staples Rd, San Marcos, TX 78666\nWhat you'll be doing as a Maintenance Technician:\nDriving resident satisfaction by responding to and completing work orders timely in a quality manner.\nDriving property performance by performing any and all work that produces clean, safe, and attractive common areas, including: pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking lots, etc.\nCoordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to prioritize tasks throughout the day.\nProviding excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.\nMaintaining property value by performing preventative maintenance throughout the property.\nEnsuring Resident satisfaction by preparing vacant apartments for move-in.\nEnsuring a safe work environment by identifying any issues regarding safety, hazardous conditions or maintenance needs on the property and correcting them and/or reporting them to the Maintenance Supervisor.\nMaintaining and repairing critical building and site systems.\nUsing software applications to track work and personal performance. \nBe a part of a team handling a variety of tasks in an always developing environment.\nWhat you must have:\nAt least 1 year of general maintenance/general repair experience, preferably in the multifamily or related industry\nEPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification strongly preferred\nTrade skills including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliance, etc.\nTrade Licensing preferred but not required\nMust have own hand tools\nMust live within 30 minutes of community\nMust be willing to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays\nMust have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule \n*Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job such as lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.\nWhat's Nice to Have:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred but not required \nCertified Pool Operator (CPO)\nOur compensation & benefits package is designed to reward long-term career growth.
