Responsible for identifying defects early, improving product performance, and ensuring that the final deliverables meet business and user requirements, thereby reducing risks and enhancing customer satisfaction.\nKey Accountabilities/Responsibilities\nDesign and implement the AI API Assurance Framework, defining the standards, test controls and evidence required before AI-designed APIs are deployed to production.\nBuild business-flow API automated tests across services to validate end-to-end system behaviour, including parity checks between modernised and legacy functionality.\nAutomate end-to-end user journeys through the Angular UI WebApp using Playwright, with API-first test setup and role-based access control (RBAC) permutations.\nContribute to and evolve the Playwright and TypeScript automation framework, including the shared locator library, extensible Page Object Model, reusable fixtures and parallel execution.\nPlan for opportunities to develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency and repeatability of testing processes, where applicable.\nEffectively manage test data, review and refine test scenarios, and ensure the seamless execution of testing processes to meet quality standards using tools like Jira / Zephyr\nCreate & Update Test Reporting Dashboards, providing insights into test coverage, defect status, and overall quality metrics to stakeholders with industry standard Quality Matrices.\nIdentify, document, and track defects using Jira, working closely with developers & vendors to ensure timely resolution and conduct defect triages with the wider delivery team members as required.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to align testing activities with project goals and timelines.\n Tertiary qualifications in technology.\nFormal QA certification/s relevant to the role.\nRequired experience, understanding or credentials including:\nProven experience as a Senior Test Analyst.\nExperienced in strong coding capability in Python, SQL or similar languages, together with experience in version control, testing and automation.\nHands-on experience with AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, intelligent agents and other LLM-based services.\nExperience carrying out Test Planning, stakeholder management.\nKnowledge of testing principles, methods, tools and technologies, including plans, scenarios, strategies and related procedures\nExperience designing and developing Test Plans and Test Cases with minimal Requirements and Design documents.\nWorking knowledge of test automation frameworks and its implementation\nAbility to work autonomously and act as the point of contact on projects where required.\nIndustry experience within Superannuation is preferred.\n .What you'll find at Rest\nHybrid working\n5 Rest Days (wellbeing days) each year in addition to annual leave\nEligible employees are entitled to 22 weeks paid parental leave (gender neutral)\nContinued super contributions during parental leave\nLearning and development opportunities, including AI & Data Academy, leadership programs, LinkedIn Learning, study assistance and professional memberships\nIncome Protection Insurance\nOption to purchase additional leave\nRecognition through our Rest Excellence Awards\nIf you share our values and this sounds like the kind of place you’d do your best work, we’d like to hear from you.
