We are looking for an outstanding entry-level corporate attorney to handle routine and emerging issues which arise in our company and require legal advice and counsel, as well as to contribute to the administration of our small corporate law department.\nHow you'll add value:\nWorking under the supervision of the Head of Legal:\nPersonally negotiate, draft, review and advise on key company agreements, including without limitation customer, vendor and partner contracts and NDAs.\n\nWork with the company’s Deal Desk to improve company’s contracting processes, select a contract management systems and create automation in the sales contract process.\n\nContribute to legal team’s handling of issues relating to:\n\nData privacy and security\n\nLegal consideration of products\n\nLitigation and disputes\n\nInternal investigations\n\nEthics and compliance\n\nHR/Employment law\n\nM&A diligence and integration\n\nAssist Head of Legal with corporate governance, financing and equity issues.\n\nCollaborate effectively with colleagues throughout the company and with outside counsel.\n\nResearch, anticipate, and guard the company against emerging legal risks\n\nBe a trusted advisor to the leadership team on legal matters critical to the growth of the business\n\nProvide pragmatic advise and recommendations\n\nUnderstand R365’s industry, operations, products, and sales model to help mitigate risks and find creative and cost-effective solutions to legal issues.\n\nMaintain knowledge of the organization’s operations and legal documents.\n\nSelects when AI adds value, double-checks its outputs, and can clearly describe their AI workflow to others.\n\nFind opportunities to automate and improve how work gets done across your role with approved AI and other tools, choosing the right tool for each task, refining your prompts, and reviewing outputs for quality and time saved.\n\nWhat you'll need to be successful in this role:\nThe ideal candidate will have about 1 - 3 years of corporate legal experience with a law firm or in-house legal department.\n\nJuris Doctor Degree from ABA Accredited University and Bachelors Degree Required.\n\nLicensed to practice law in one of U.S. States or District of Columbia.\n\nExperience negotiating, drafting, reviewing and advising on contracts.\n\nPossess outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to work collaboratively.\n\nBe proficient in AI tools and comfortable utilizing AI to maximum efficiency within the small legal team.\n\nCuriosity and eagerness to use AI in your daily work, backed by hands-on experience, a good sense of what generative AI can and can't do, and the judgment to verify its outputs. \nBe pragmatic and have the right risk tolerance for working at a high-growth business\n\nBe flexible and tenacious in solving complex legal and business challenges;\n\nHave strong research and organizational skills, including an eye for detail, a creative mind, and the ability to shift seamlessly from task to task;\n\nBe able to work independently on a project basis, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines; and\n\nBe intellectually curious and motivated to learn about a wide range of topics, including general corporate matters, employment issues, vendor and customer relationships, and regulatory risk management.\n\nHave a bias toward action in situations where decisions need to be made with incomplete information\n\nR365 Team Member Benefits & Compensation\nThis position has a salary range of $120,000 - $140,000.\nThe above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
