Responsibilities include weighing, mixing, ampulating, and packaging products. The role requires handling various chemicals, including regulated materials and carcinogens, while adhering to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs). The successful candidate must be detail-oriented and have basic computer skills. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is preferred.\nThis position will be key part of a growing team in a fast-paced environment. The schedule for this position will be either second or third shift with a second shift schedule of Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm or third shift schedule of Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 pm - 6:30 am, with the potential for overtime. The training period for this position will be Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm for approximately 6-8 weeks.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProduct Processing: Weigh, mix, ampulate, and package reference standards. Ensure inventory levels are maintained and backorders are serviced timely.\nChemical Handling: Manage a range of chemicals, including regulated materials and carcinogens, following strict safety procedures.\nSOP Compliance: Follow standard operating procedures and safety codes. Consult safety officers, reference books, or MSDS when needed.\n Record Keeping: Maintain records and databases related to Statistical Product Control (SPC) and other quality metrics. Understand data to identify issues.\nEquipment Maintenance: Perform basic equipment repairs, installations, and maintenance as needed.\nTraining and Support: Provide technical training and support to others when sufficiently experienced.\nTeam Participation: Attend departmental and team meetings and perform other duties as assigned.\nPhysical Requirements:\nActivity: Standing 8-10 hours per shift with occasional breaks; stooping, bending, reaching, pulling, fingering, pinching, grasping, typing.\nLifting: Occasionally exert up to 20 lbs. of pressure, frequently up to 10 lbs.\nExposure: Fumes, odors, dust, gases.\nQualifications:\nMinimum of high school diploma or GED. Preferably 2 years of specialized training in a science-related technology or relevant experience. Previous manufacturing experience a plus.\n Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:Basic math and scientific problem-solving abilities.\nAttention to detail and accuracy.\nBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.\nUnderstanding of business concepts and technical details.\nKnowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements.\nAbility to follow and give basic oral and written instructions.\nGood communication skills and the ability to train others.\n\nAdditional Requirements:\nRespirator fit test, annual medical surveillance program enrollment, DEA and ATF clearances for handling regulated material.\nThis position will require the successful completion of a standard background check in accordance with Restek policy.
