If so, let’s connect!\nPosition Overview\nAs a Senior Analyst, you will evaluate clean energy contracts for utility-scale projects using meteorological and power market data. You will perform detailed settlement and auditing calculations on projects and contracts for asset owners, buyers, and investors.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop insights into the generation and financial performance of renewable projects and portfolios.\nAnalyze and understand electricity market, meteorological, and utility-scale wind, solar, and storage project data.\nCalculate the project generation and settlement amount for clean energy contracts.\nAudit invoices for accuracy of generation, price, and application of contract settlement clauses.\nContinue the advancement of REsurety’s settlement and project performance assessment capabilities.\nExecute quality control checks of data critical to business processes.\nRequired Experience & Qualifications\n2+ years of industry experience in clean energy development, asset management, consulting, advisory or finance.\nBackground in math, finance, accounting, physics, engineering, atmospheric science, data science, or a related field.\nProficiency with Excel and foundational experience (or a strong interest in developing proficiency) in SQL and Python.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience processing large datasets, including meteorological, finance, or operating wind or solar farm data\nExperience generating settlement and performance reports for power purchase agreements\nExperience working in auditing or accounting of financial statements\nFamiliarity with R, KNIME, APIs, and JSON data formats\nExperience with wind and solar resource assessment techniques (including working with Windographer, PVsyst, etc.)\nThe Skills and Mindset We Are Looking For\nSelf-motivated and capable of executing complex tasks with limited oversight.\nDetail-oriented and deliver data without errors. \nTeam-oriented contributor, learns from others and asks productive questions.\nThrives in a culture of continuous feedback.\nCompensation, Benefits and Location\nThe base compensation range for this position is $81,600 - $87,000.\nActual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
