We are excited to offer the opportunity for professional and collaborative individuals to grow and be part of something exciting.\nJob Summary\nThe Reconciliation Specialist is responsible for supporting our billing teams by working with our billing services team and insurance companies to ensure efficient and prompt reimbursement reconciliation for therapy sessions for our customers and actively posting payments in customers billing systems for accurate accounts receivable monitoring.\nJob Duties:\nEnsure strict HIPAA-compliant confidentiality with all client-related data \nReconcile payments posted electronically from the clearinghouse \nPost manual payments in all billing platforms (Rethink, Tebra, Azalea) \nReview and interpret EOBs and ERAs \nPost payments from insurance portals \nEnroll in ERAs when applicable to reduce volume of manual posting & monitor/track progress of enrollment requests \nCommunicate trends identified when posting to Customer Billing Advocate (CBA) / AR team for client \nIdentify underpayments/overpayments & ensure proper communication across POD members (CBA & AR Team) for resolution \nMeasure and monitor key metrics related to work performance \nReview & interpret payor contracts when applicable \nFoster a positive work environment for colleagues \nSpecial projects as needed \nRequirements:HS Diploma or Equivalent \nMinimum 1-2 years payment posting experience \nABA experience \nExperience using insurance company websites/portals \nWilling to learn, positive attitude and loves a good challenge \nProfessional phone skills \nThis role requires exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking and excellent communication with internal teams and insurance companies \n Preferred Qualifications:Speech, OT and Mental Health experience \nMinimum 1-year experience working in an office setting \nMinimum 1 year experience in billing both major commercial insurance companies as well as state Medicaid programs \nExperience using Billing Software (Azalea, Kareo), EMR (Rethink) and Clearinghouse systems (Waystar, Trizetto, Availity) \nProficient using Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google Docs/Sheets \nEducation:\nHS Diploma or Equivalent required \nBenefits: PTO and Vacation Days after a 90-day introductory period \nPaid Holidays \nGenerous Health, Denial & Vision benefits package \n401k + Matching \nJob Type: Full-time, Hourly, Monday-Friday (8-5 PM)\nRemote opportunities are available only in the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, MO, NC, NE, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA\nOur commitment to an inclusive workplace\nRethinkFirst is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.
