You will lead detailed system studies including short circuit, arc flash, load flow, and harmonic analysis, while designing collection systems, building interconnection models, and producing clear, client-ready reports that drive real project decisions.\nWorking closely with project teams and clients, you will manage multiple active projects, review technical deliverables, mentor junior engineers, and apply advanced tools like ETAP and PSCAD to streamline analysis and improve outcomes. You will play a central role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions that accelerate the clean energy transition.\nThis role can be performed remotely from either the US or Canada. Salary range advertised above is in USD. In CAD, the range is $CAD 233,000 - 255,000.\n Duties & Responsibilities\nProject Delivery & Technical Execution\nPerform and lead highly complex system studies including protective device coordination and analyses such as short circuit, arc flash, load flow, ampacity, grounding, harmonic, and power quality \nLead the design of collection systems, including cable routing and cable sizing \nIndependently prepare interconnection application packages and set up load flow and dynamic models \nPrepare and manage drawings of grid interconnection and collection systems for interconnection applications \nCreate equipment specifications and apply deep knowledge of renewable energy systems, including PV modules, inverters, BESS, transformers, cable management systems, and BOS \nReview complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance \nIndependently apply extensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices \nIndependently evaluate, select, and adapt procedures and criteria \nDevelop new techniques and improved processes, materials, or products \nClient & Stakeholder Coordination\nSupport client interaction across multiple projects and portfolios \nAct as the main point of contact for a discipline or project team across portfolios \nCreate and oversee reports and presentations that communicate studies performed, solutions developed, and value delivered \nPrepare proposals for professional engineering services across projects or portfolios \nReview and finalize scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments \nPlan, schedule, and coordinate document preparation and project activities across multiple major projects \nLeadership & Team Support\nSupervise, train, and mentor assigned staff engineers \nLead all staff necessary to complete assignments \nAdvise upper-level management and staff as a technical specialist \nCollaborate on complex or unconventional problems, including developing new approaches for assignments with conflicting criteria \nOversee projects within a portfolio or suite of projects \nAdditional Responsibilities\nPerform essential duties, including meeting deliverables and deadlines \nPerform other tasks as required. \nExperience, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities\nRequired\nEquivalent of: 1) U.S. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field, or \n2) Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field plus five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. \n\nProfessional Engineer (PE or Canadian P.Eng) license preferred. \nTechnical skills required: Advanced knowledge of ETAP, CDEGS, CYMCAP. \n2 years of experience as a solar PV systems or energy storage electrical engineer \nBenefits for Full-Time Positions\nParticipation in Revamp’s Employee Ownership ESOP program \nCompetitive compensation with bonus. \nFull benefits package including 99% employer-paid health, vision, life, and dental insurance. \nMedical, dependent care, and commuter FSA. \nMonthly health and wellness stipend. \nAttractive vacation, sick, and holiday pay. \nPaid parental leave. \n401(k) savings plan with 100% match up to 6%, vested immediately. \nPaid volunteer time off and charitable donation matching. \nAbout Revamp\nFounded in 2016, Revamp is the premier employee-owned engineering design firm dedicated to advancing large-scale renewable energy projects.
