This role ensures compliance with FDA (21 CFR Parts 210, 211, 1 1), ICH QIO, and company-specific quality standards. The QA Supervisor will drive timely, thorough, and effective investigations, apply root cause analysis techniques, implement sustainable CAPAs, and manage the lifecycle of change control records. \nAs a cross-functional Supervisor, the QA Supervisor partners closely with Manufacturing, Quality Control, Validation, and Supply Chain to uphold product quality, ensure data integrity, and maintain a state of regulatory readiness \nReporting to: QA Manager \nLocation: Johnson City, Plant\nResponsibilities/Essential Duties: \nInvestigations & Root Cause Analysis (NCMs) \nManage and execute product and system investigations including deviations, OOS/OOT results, nonconformances, and complaint-related issues. \nEnsure timelyinitiation, impact assessment, and documentation of investigations in accordance withsite SOPs and 21 CFR 211.192. \nApply structured root cause analysis methodologies such as 5 -Whys, Ishikawa (fishbone), and Six Sigma tools (e.g., DMAIC, FMEA, process mapping). \nFacilitate cross-functional investigation meetings and maintainhigh-quality documentation aligned with inspection standards. \nCAPA Management \nDrive the creation, approval, and execution of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs). \nEnsure all CAPAs are specific, measurable, timely, and effective in addressing the root cause. \nMonitor CAPAprogress, escalate overdue items, and support effectiveness checks to verify sustainable resolution. \nTrend and report CAPA data to support site Quality Metrics and Management Review. \nChange Control Oversight \nManage and QA-approvechangesimpactingprocedures, materials, equipment, facilities, test methods, and validated systems. \nEvaluate proposed changes forregulatory impact, validation requirements, and risk mitigation using ICH Q9 principles. \nCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure all associated tasks are defined, executed, and documented prior to closure. \nTrack and trend change control metrics and ensure readiness for audits. \nCompliance & Data Integrity \nEnsure all records are complete, contemporaneous, and compliant with ALCOA+ principles. \nSupport FDA, customer, and internal audits by presenting investigation files, CAPA evidence, and changecontrol history. \nContribute to Quality Risk Management processes and participatein FMEAs and risk evaluations as required. \nContinuous Improvement \nIdentifyand implement improvements to investigation and CAPA lifecycle efficiency and compliance. \nContribute to site-wide quality initiatives, including audit readiness, inspection trend gap closure, and right-first-time performance. \nProvide training and mentorship to QA personnel on investigation techniques, documentation standards, and data integrity. \nBasic Qualifications: \nBachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related technical field required. \nMinimum 5 years of Quality Assurance experience in a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical, OTC, or medical device environment. \nDemonstrated expertisein managing deviations, CAPAs, and changecontrol systems. \n Experience with FDA inspections and supporting regulatory audits is stronglypreferred. \nTechnical Skills \nIn-depth knowledge of21 CFR Parts210, 211, 11, ICH Q7-QIO, and relevantUSP chapters. \nProficiencyin root cause analysis tools and Six Sigma methodologies. \nExperience using electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS) such as MasterControl, Veeva, or ETQ Reliance. \nFamiliarity with data integrity requirements and ALCOA+ compliance. \nKey Competencies \nInvestigative Rigor: Executes high-quality, inspection-ready investigations with accurateroot cause identification. \nCAPA Execution: Ensures timely, effective, and risk-based corrective actions. \nChange Control Management: Evaluates and manages changewith regulatory and operational impact in mind. \nCompliance Stewardship: Upholds data integrity and documentation standards across all QA systems. \nCollaboration: Works effectively across departments to align investigation outcomes with operational needs. \nAccountability: Tracks and deliveries on commitments with minimal supervision.\n\nCompany Summary:\nRevance is a global company developing, producing, and distributing industry-leading, differentiated products across aesthetics, skincare, and therapeutics.
