The incumbent will also assist the Senior Manager, Facilities in selected administrative tasks, and may act as a backup during their absence.\nReporting to: Sr. Manager, Facilities\nLocation/Territory: Newark, CA - Onsite 5 days/week\nCompensation: $42.00 - $50.00/hour + annual performance bonus\n\nResponsibilities/Essential Duties:\nPerform routine and non-routine equipment maintenance, modifications, and repairs on a timely basis.\nIdentify and respond to quality events to ensure protection of product and assets.\nAnalyze equipment and systems, develop and execute corrective actions to technical problems.\nParticipate on project teams for major projects and complete individual projects as assigned.\nOrder parts and components for jobs as needed. Assist with development of a spare parts inventory for new and existing equipment.\nReview, modify, and write preventative maintenance and facility equipment standard operating procedures. Test new procedures for accuracy and completeness.\nPerform and document repairs, adjustments, and replacement of equipment and/or components per cGMP, GDP and CDC standards, and in accordance with Revance procedures.\nProvide after hours on-call support.\nAssist maintenance technicians if applicable in troubleshooting of equipment.\nCoordinate with outside contractors to ensure projects and PM(s) are completed correctly and per schedule.\nSupport validation of equipment and system IQ, OQ, and PQ(s).\nExecution of unscheduled maintenance work orders.\nAssist with technical training for new maintenance technicians. Assist other departments with training in new equipment and/or building systems.\nCarries out new equipment start-ups.\nSupervises, assigns tasks, and provides direction, reviews and approves work and paperwork submitted by maintenance and calibration vendors as required.\nProvide input to management on task-related performance of vendor maintenance technicians.\nRedlines existing drawings. Provides basis for new drawings via hand drawn diagrams and schematics. Assists in drawing updates by performing system walk downs with P&ID(s).\nProvide justification for small (under $25,000) capital projects and ensure capital project spending remains within specified project costs.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nAssociate’s degree in an Engineering discipline, and 3 years’ directly related experience; OR an equivalent combination of experience.\nMust be able to work independently and have a high mechanical aptitude.\nMust be able to follow and align work with GMP processes and requirements.\nMust be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAt least 3 years in a structured maintenance program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nAt least 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or other regulated industry.\nPossess an advanced knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, including basic calibration practices.\nPossess an intermediate knowledge of utility systems and process equipment in a cGMP environment.\nExperience in maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, refrigeration and/or process equipment (Bioreactors, autoclaves, lyophilizers, tanks, pumps, purified water systems, etc.).\nEffective communication skills.\nAble to maintain accurate, legible records.\nAble to read and understand blueprints, PLC ladder logic, P&ID(s) and electrical schematics.\nAbility to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, SOPs, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.\nAbility to write reports, justifications, procedures, work orders and PM descriptions.\nAbility to perform mathematical and basic engineering calculations.\nKnowledge of CDC select agent regulations.\nKnowledge of PLC(s).\nExperience with toxin manufacturing.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.\n\nCompany Summary:\nRevance is a global company developing, producing, and distributing industry-leading, differentiated products across aesthetics, skincare, and therapeutics.
