Our R&D and engineering facilities are in Prague, Czech Republic.\nThe role\nWe are looking for someone to own hiring and people operations at REVEL. We are growing fast and hire several people every month across engineering and operations. At the same time, we are building our people foundations: the hiring process, career ladders, compensation, HR systems and onboarding. You will own all of it, working directly with the founders and every team lead.\nHiring is the biggest part of the job today, and the people side grows with the team. This is a hands-on role in a young company. You will build processes and frameworks and then run them yourself. You do not need to understand robotics. You do need sound judgement, the trust of the people around you and the energy to keep many things moving at once. This is a full-time role based on-site at our Prague office and lab in Hostivař (U Pekáren 1644/1a), Monday to Friday.\nWhat you'll do\nHiring: Own hiring end to end for roles across engineering and operations, from the kick-off with the hiring manager to screening, interviews, lab days and the signed offer.\n\nHiring Process and Ashby: Run our interview process, keep Ashby set up well (interview plans, scorecards, templates) and report a weekly hiring status to the founders.\n\nSourcing and Employer Brand: Source candidates directly, run referrals and job boards, write job descriptions and postings, and keep our careers page and LinkedIn presence up to date.\n\nOffers and Compensation: Benchmark salaries, maintain salary ranges per level, and prepare and negotiate offers with the founders.\n\nCareer Frameworks: Build and maintain career ladders, levels, job descriptions and the equity matrix.\n\nOnboarding and Offboarding: Give every new colleague a good start, from NDA and contract handover to pre-start calls and 30 and 60 day check-ins, and handle every exit well.\n\nContracts and Compliance: Advise on contract types and their risks, work with our lawyers on contracts and terminations, and own the GDPR procedure for candidate and employee data.\n\nHR Systems: Lead the selection and rollout of our HR and payroll platform, and keep people data accurate.\n\nFeedback and Employee Relations: Run candidate, new joiner and team satisfaction surveys, and be a trusted point of contact for concerns and difficult conversations.\n\nPerformance and Growth: Set up performance reviews, promotions and salary reviews as the team grows.\n\nWho we're looking for\n3+ years in People Operations, HR or talent acquisition, covering both recruiting and HR.\n\nFull-cycle recruiting experience, including high-volume hiring and technical or engineering roles.\n\nWorking knowledge of Czech labour law, including employment and independent contractor contracts.\n\nExperience building people processes from scratch in a startup or fast-growing company.\n\nComfortable with numbers: salary benchmarks, ranges and hiring metrics.\n\nAutonomous: you set priorities, make decisions and follow through without waiting to be asked.\n\nDiscretion and sound judgement with confidential information about pay, contracts and people.\n\nA team player the founders, team leads and candidates can trust.\n\nNative-level Czech and fluent English.\n\nAble to work full-time on-site at our Prague office in Hostivař, Monday to Friday.\n\nBonus points, but not essential\nHands-on experience with Ashby.\n\nExperience implementing an HR or payroll platform.\n\nExperience with compensation frameworks, career ladders or employee equity (ESOP).\n\nExperience hiring in robotics, AI or hardware.\n\nWhat this role is not\nThis is not an HR administration or payroll role. Payroll and accounting sit with finance, and the office and workspace are run by our operations team. It is not a pure recruiting role either: you will own the people side of REVEL as well as hiring. It is also not a remote, hybrid or part-time job.
