{"id":3781422,"url":"https://alion.io/job/revelationpharma-lead-pharmacy-technician","title":"Lead Pharmacy Technician","company":{"id":3860707,"name":"Revelationpharma","domain":"revelationpharma.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/revelationpharma","size_band":null,"is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"ADP","truth_index":null},"role":"Field & Service","role_family":"Field & Service","seniority":"lead","employment_type":"part_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Pensacola, United States"],"countries":["US"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":{"min":24,"max":24,"currency":"USD","period":"hour","gross":null,"usd_annual":48000},"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-11-05T01:02:13Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-11-05","last_verified_at":"2026-11-05T10:03:59Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":0,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":0},"description":"Job Summary:\nLead Pharmacy Technician responsibilities may include the following: overseeing the provision of excellent customer service and for the accurate and timely billing of compounded preparations based off patient specific prescriptions, performing fulfillment of data entry and prescription processing, and/or assisting and supporting laboratory technicians in prescription compounding and fulfillment activities, ongoing training and uptraining of front end staff (shipping clerks, tech-trainees, certified pharmacy technicians), oversight and responsibility for all front end pharmacy operations.\nJob Activities and Responsibilities:The responsibilities listed below are subject to change.\nTechnicians may be first point of contact for customers, so it is very important that customers are greeted and assisted in a friendly and professional manner\nChecking prescriptions for completeness and entering necessary information into the computer to generate a prescription label and invoices (if necessary)\nFilling and labeling prescriptions and prepackaging bulk medications and various types of medication and ancillary kits\nCommunicating with prescribers to receive refill authorization receiving patient refills by telephone, directing calls or taking and relaying messages\nReceives patient refills and payments by telephone, directing calls or taking and relaying messages\nAssisting team lead with organization and appearance of the pharmacy front-end, ordering and pricing front-end merchandise.\nLead technician shall train staff, delegate tasks and responsibilities to other non-compounding technician\nGain team buy-in by getting team input, reaffirming ideas provided, and providing feedback\nResolve internal and external conflict based on company and supervisor standard\nTechnician shall work under the supervision of a pharmacist\nMaintaining an organized and efficient workspace\nInvestigating an incidence and/or variance as needed, documenting variances as needed including the resolution\nAssists and takes responsibility quality assurance/quality control efforts as needed per SOP in coordination with Designated Person.\nOperates and uses appropriate techniques within systems for storage, preparation and dispensing of medicinal agents\nFollows the healthcare centers policies regarding medication preparation, labeling, and controlled substances reconciliation \nHelps maintain orderly, clean environment in the Pharmacy, including cleanliness of pharmacy stock and supplies\nTo build and maintain a positive work atmosphere with the pharmacy staff \nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) required\nCertified Technician is preferred\nExcellent work ethic, including a personal drive to excel independently.\nAverage PC skills including Microsoft software\nStrong organizational skills; attention to detail\nMust be licensed a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state in which you are applying\nPhysical Requirements:\nProficient in using a computer and related equipment, including printers and fax machines.\nAbility to sit or stand for extended periods.\nEffective communication skills via telephone and email.\nCapable of lifting up to 40 pounds as needed.\n20/20 vision (with or without corrective aids) required for visual inspection of drug products, in accordance with legal requirements.\nBenefits:\nHealth care insurance (medical, dental, vision)\nLife Insurance\nSupplemental Insurance \nPTO\n401K matching\nSick leave\nRevelation Pharma is an equal opportunity employer.
